I tracked my repeated errors down to overwolf… if that helps… i’ll just manage my add on’s manually…
Also run a scan and repair on wow once a month at minimum… it does help

We noticed a some players are still being impacted by this issue:
Discord/Windows have released updates that should have resolved the problem with the Overlay that was causing the Error 132 crash for players. If you have or had Discord installed on your system please be sure to Update Windows and Update Discord!
Disabling the Overlay should still resolve the crashes, but we would like to ask if anyone has tested with the Overlay Enabled to verify. That way we can close our our tracking on these cases.

Can confirm. Completely uninstalled and removed 100% of Discord and now it is running fine.
I am getting this issue as well. Does discord have to be running or simply installed? I haven’t been using discord when I’ve gotten these crashes, but I do have discord on my PC.
On a fresh windows install, without having installed Discord, I STILL have a 132 error attempting to login to retail.
Need to go into Discord’s preferences then scroll down to Overlays and turn it off.
Not sure how discord is doing it’s overlay , if it’s doing it via a DLL loaded when it opens or if it’s a service running at boot. If it’s a service it’ll be injecting a hook into the wow process.
I think this is Discord interacting with something else causing a crash. I’ve been using Discord since their beta with overlay enabled and I’ve yet to run into an issue.
