I’m not sure if this matters, but the error.txt documents from today are time stamped 2023-01-25. Seems like the game thinks it is tomorrow. Could that be an issue?

we’re not getting a pet dude, prolly won’t even have the time credited because the game was accessible from a PC the whole time. We’ll just get a “it works now!” and that’ll be it.
I would love a pet every time they did something to ruin the mac gaming experience.

A lot of us can’t update past certain points. Blizzard says they support 10.15.7 and above - they should honor that and not just make sure the game opens on the latest version only for some mac users. Glad you could make it in though - play your best game for all of us still-broken mac using souls lol!

I’m in New Zealand where it is the 25th already, and it also says the 25th. Not sure if that’s in any way useful.
I find it amusing and completely appropriate that the Blizzard Error app is also broken and locks up when trying to send the crash report.

I feel better knowing I am not the only one having this issue. the updates had completed and as soon as I click play, it looks like it is going to load and then it crashes and I get an error message- there has been a few.
I am on a 27 in IMAC, late 2015 Big Sur 11.5.2.

Tried earlier this afternoon and just recently. Same issue of crashing when launched from Battle.net. Wondering if it is the same root cause as the 10.0.2 update.

Last time it was an issue w the intro vid causing Macs to crash. I don’t recall the tech reason. Someone made a skip for the intro to & everything worked ok after that.

Same issue on my iMac with Catalina. Tried the CONFIG change from last time this happened and nothing doing. Looking forward to the fix as this was also my night to get some game play in. Please be sure to share/post the fix if there is a workaround.
