[Main Thread] Crashes on launch after maintenance Jan 24th

Yeah, the last time I upgraded my Mac OS, it literally killed my laptop and I had to take it into Apple to pull important files and photos and they had to factory reset it. Not doing that nonsense again. Please fix this because I’m losing days on my almost ending subscription time.

Any other software company would have rolled back the release and apologized for not putting out appropriate software. This is right up there with Batman: Arkham Knight which was pulled from market.

HOW LONG IS THIS GONNA TAKE, THIS IS UNVELIBABLE. I AM LOSING GAME TIME THAT I AM PAYING LAST TIMW IT WAS MORE THAN A WEEK THAT I COULD NOT PLAY BECAUSE OF THE SAME ISSUE AND I DID NOT RECEIVE ANY COMPENSATION FOR THE GAME TIME LOST FRO YOU.

Plus I am losing the opportunity to complete the achievement that lunar festival holiday has.

Another temporary solution is to try Bootcamp if you can.
I put Windows 11 on an external SSD a couple years ago for Windows only games and I was able to install WoW and play last night. Sucks to have to restart the computer and switch OS, when everything else I do is on Mac, but at least it works for now.

Blizzard not sure if this is feasible but how about rolling back the latest patch for us Mac users?

thank you for the update. I’m running Big Sur, and that upgrade caused such drama i’m hesitant to upgrade further. This machine is leased and going back in a month or so, which also adds to my hesitation… i don’t want to risk losing everything (again) just for WoW. This was all working fine until the patch this past week… any chance it can be fixed for Big Sur (and lower) users?

I Started in SAFE MODE on my MacBook and got a new error message. I"ve already sent it in with a screen grab. Its about the 3D card:
"Your 3D accelerator card is not supported by World of Warcraft. For more information please see http… support…World of Warcraft requirements.

Happy to have a blue post on here this morning but the game is still broken for me. I hope they end up fixing this for Catalina 10.15.7 because it seems to be the most common one to have issues and crash unless upgraded. I would upgrade if i could but this macbook is too old unfortunately. I miss my PC for gaming.

So what if we can’t upgrade to Monterey? The latest I can get is Big Sur. Is blizzard planning to comp our subscriptions? We all meet the min requirements as posted on your site. There’s no reason why this shouldn’t work.

I’ll also take a new computer from blizz
