Just had a maintenance announcement for tomorrow, pop up on Battle.net launcher. Assuming we’re SOL until then.
Probably a Mac developer hearing thoughts of cutting departments again and said ‘have fun’ laughing as they left the building.
$60B company can’t afford to buy a few test machines I guess.

The fact that Blizz is making 5 figures per day on just the folks in here and hasnt given us an update in hours is completely laughable. They just turned the lights off and went home.
LOL push a hotfix within a couple hours for some other login issue, meanwhile leaving an entire sector of their player base who can’t get the game to load at all hanging until reset. In perfect alignment with mac support for wow since cata.
hmm 9 hours later no fix come on blizz, lets get this fixed so I dont miss out on my grind time

I been trying to get in since 5pm and no luck. i deleted the game and reinstalled. i am able to play on my 9lvl on wrath classic but it is too slow walking everywhere lol. hopefully they can get this resolved soon.
Yeah they aren’t doing anything. We are all stuck here to die. FIX YOUR ISSUED BLIZZARD, WE AS A MAC COMMUNITY DEMAND THIS.
It isn’t even just Mac. I can log in just fine, but loading any character, on any server, just crashes the damn game. Turned all settings to the lowest, disabled addons. Scan/repaired twice. Rebooted. Nothing.
Frankly, it’s amazing how much y’all managed to screw up with one small patch.
It’s completely inexcusable. Just roll back to 10.0.2 or whatever, because at least THAT PATCH BLOODY WELL WORKED
Oh I agree we are a minority of players, as my entire guild likes to remind me every time I tell them I’m experiencing a new bug in the game that I’ll just get to live with going forward (looking at you wrong textures in random places at random times since BFA). But Blizzard is the one that states they support Mac OS going back to 10.15.7. They should at least give a semblance of similar priority to all the platforms they themselves of their own free will say they support.
Meming aside though, I suspect it’ll be fixed, but mac support really is scaled down to skeletal, it’ll be slow/low priority.
Definitely keep making noise though and showing them that there are a lot of us IMO. Just don’t be hateful toward the blizzard devs and blues themselves cause they aren’t ones causing this issue, suits above blizzard are ones that scaled back our support and continue to force rushed products out door to maximize profits. Even the team lead that left classic team confirmed last two expansions were rushed for profits and many decisions were made above even the acting blizzard ceo. there is a problem here and it’s name is activision. We can only HOPE microsoft take over actually happens and they’re better.

Less pay for less work, until my subs are prorated to have a mac-support-low-effort deduction, I will expect the same service everyone else gets.
