Do we even have a idea of who it could be behind this? Usually the folks behind the DDoS are pretty vocal about their accomplishment. Hell at this point I wouldn’t put it past Blizzard just using DDoS as a excuse because even they don’t know what’s wrong with their own server or even how to fix it.
If it’s a blizzard problem, chances are it’s a DDoS attack. Sadly no info on who it is just yet but if they’re smart they wouldn’t say anything.
It’s not a DDoS attack. They’re lying. They have had login problems for almost 12 hours now with D4, and now it’s spread to other game logins?
They’re either lying, or completely inept.

Yeah I do find it a bit strange since even with actual DDoS attacks I was at least able to log in and suffer lag and occasional out right D/Cs, but this is going as far as saying I straight up didn’t even have a license for the game iv played for like 20 years. So either it’s an inside job to sabotage or they shut down the server that holds all the licenses entirely since 12 hours ago.

The systems were being all sorts of wonky in the overnight, along with a DDoS attack. Seemed like a lot of the pages were inaccessible (support, account management, etc.)
If it’s still reading that your sub has lapsed here on the forums, just log out and log back in. No matter what the forum or launcher says - the only thing that truly matters is what is on your account management page.
And if logging in and out of the forums doesn’t do the trick, try changing your password.
The subscription read issue may still be a Blizzard-side problem, as I got a “no valid license found for Diablo IV” error when trying to log in to that game after logging in to WoW failed. It seems more than just the login servers may have been affected to some degree.
I just got a message via the forums that my post was removed because I don’t have an active subscription. My last sub was purchased the 4th of this month. I can’t even open the account details sub section to look, it just times out. So, I got up to check on my computer and I can’t even log in, but it doesn’t show the usual exclamation point that my sub is expired, it just says “you have been disconnected”. Trying to open up the “contact us” section of the website also just tells me there was an error on Blizzard’s end.
Any ideas what’s up?
