Some people even might of been gifted the cards. Problem is, some people chose to hold on to them to resell them on sites for a lot of money when getting the cards in general never cost a lot. Blizzards way to counter this issue is to give it by other ways to people for free.

Spending that gold was your choice. Blizzard isn’t profiting from having these sold on Ebay, so I don’t blame them for tying these things to promotions. In my opinion, they should keep doing it.

Rooster mount that I got costed me over 1,000 dollars. Sometimes it drops to just below 700 and stays there for a while. Swift Spectral Tiger that I got cost me over 2,000 and I got it for 15 of my toons when I multiboxed and it was one mount per toon.
I dont like spending money only to have it given out for free.
Just bring back TCG for WoW. No reason why they cant relaunch TCG for WOTLK Classic.
Also…this is technically WoTLK Legacy and not WoTLK Classic. Too many changes to the game to call THIS a “Classic”. Its not a classic if you make changes to modernize it.

Okay, but why these mounts? They could just leave them alone like every other almost unobtainable mount. The people that wanted them got them, and the ones that didn’t care about it didn’t get them.
There’s a lot of unobtainable mounts I missed out on for whatever reason. It would seem weird for example, if they introduced the original mounts in very early Classic. My first response would be why are they doing that? why not just introduce new rewards and leave the ones that are in the past in the past. Whatever seems like I’m just butthurt.
the whole thing just seems weird to me. If I was thinking of a reason why they’d do this it’s because one of the devs is either new to the game and wants the mounts, or one of the veteran players on their team can’t sell enough carries or doesn’t have a fat enough wallet to buy them.

Not a waste. I had fun multiboxing while it lasted. Unlike almost all the other MBers I had toons I played besides that as well so when it became against the rules I didnt care much and simply quit doing it. Everyone hates you when you are a boxer anyways.
The quickest way to lose a bunch of friends is to become a multiboxer.
Meh, so did I, and idc. Honestly, the rooster mount is so funny and makes the best sounds. So good, in fact, that it’d be better to have a lot of them in the game, so people would drop off of high cliffs or buildings, and we can all hear the mount do that “BAW-KAWK” sound - but times 100. lol. Best thing ever.

Tcg items aren’t like vendor items, they have a finite number & not everyone who wanted one could get one, hence the thread.
Yeah, I mean I think I got my first TCG mount in 2012, so I had years to show them off/use them. And yeah the rooster is hysterical to me. The hawkstiders use the same model, but it’s just not the same lol.
OK, so why’d you make the comment about you not wanting your accomplishments to be diminished? Like, all of that is old news. Heck, so is the bronto. I have it and idc if they end up putting out a version that others can get. I got it so I can use it whenever I want, not to lord it over others, ya know?
I just want more rooster mounts in game that make funny noises. There needs to be more fun things in WoW like that.

That new kind-of-a-rooster mount in DF, is pretty neat looking with the color scheme it has to it.
I hope they do more things like that.
