Nah mages are fine, they got one burst every few minutes and die rather easily. Shamans and spriests are the broken classes.

The only thing mages are guilty of is grouping in a five man and AOE spam murder/healing people at the altars in STV and lagging the servers out.
I dislike this situation, but mages aren’t anywhere nearly as strong as druids, hunters, shamans or priests in PvP.
They’re real good in incredibly niche situations at incredibly specific things that mages specifically have historically excelled at.
Beyond that, I think mages are actually quite a bit weaker than they should be and are far weaker than their representations in classic era.

I have 1597 hp at 40 please tell me more about your skill issue? I get 2 tapped every encounter I have without cd’s. Mind you for it to be instant you have to set it up. so out of those 3 min thats the cd is down I die more in a bg than you do. Stop complaining because you get deleted every 3 min.

I don’t see bg mages don’t anything but living bomb spamming every target in existence.
Nothing else in their kit is all that threatening… I don’t even mind the arcane surge burst. Because of how rare it is… It already wiped out their entire mana bar and just being arcane hard caps them at 30 yard range.
So yeah, by all means, take living bomb out back for a right proper beating with the nerf bat, and maybe we’ll start seeing mages actually caring more about cc again instead of just zug dotting.
Then also dramatically buff frost so mages have a proper spec that works.

My biggest complaint is just about arcane surge being a massive bs button to hit in a 1v1.
That ability most likely shouldn’t exist, it’s Pom pyro but actually always kills and the lack of travel time means you can’t cheese it in anyway to protect yourself, you just die
