Their, and I do roll when I see herbs. Its not fair for me to take something that 5 people share technically. It’s all of our lock out, it’s all of our loot.
Yeah, most mages have to buy the same food and water from the innkeeper as everyone else. Using level 55 water at level 60 usually won’t even get us 1/2 our mana bar back.
Like I mentioned before, I can’t stop you from looting that locked chest, but I can stop running with you and there are many other tanks/healers like me that could do the same. You’d only be shooting yourself in the foot, it’s no sweat off my brow.
Well maybe I can’t use those skills because I don’t have the required items.
I assume my gold is my property, so maybe I’ll just not spend it on reagents. Maybe I didn’t go out and get the book I need to even have that skill in the first place.
Maybe that Druid doesn’t have reagents to revive. Maybe that Warlock didn’t go out and farm a bunch of Soul Shards.
I’m talking specifically about skills that aren’t just “get from trainer, click button, forget”. I’m talking about ones that require the player put extra effort into using.
Because the argument people keep bringing up is “but Rogues have to go out of their way to have Lockpicking!”.
Well, I gotta go out of my way to have Prayer of Fortitude and the reagents needed to cast it.
ultimately, at the end of the day rogues are abundant and low value. if you dont want to play nice, there are 30 more dps waiting to take your spot in the group.
Then next time I’ll just get another Rogue that can. No sweat off my brow. Enjoy that 3 pieces of cloth and lesser healing pot and the 5 minutes it’ll take to run back to the chest after group is disbanded.
Why does everyone arguing for stealing the rogues nodes use bad faith arguments?
Probably cause thats all they have…
Course its hillarious that people trying to steal rogue loot are calling rogues greedy for trying to have equal behavior for lockpicking as any other profession, of which it clearly is one.
To everybody saying leveling up Rogue lockpicking is hard, or time consuming, have a a guide: https:// vanillaguides .com/2018/07/30/1-300-lockpicking-guide-for-vanilla-world-of-warcraft-wow-classic/.
Anybody else remember when you were excited about what utility you could bring to your group? That sense of actually caring about how you can benefit your group, and not how your group can benefit you? I know that’s how I felt about leveling my rogue back in the day. Couldn’t wait to pick chests so that my group got more loot than they usually would.
Also, why is anybody surprised that they have to actually go out and level lockpicking, and that others would expect you to use it? This is a 15 year old game. You knew quite well people would expect you to have lockpicking leveled before you even chose the class. Stop being surprised when they want you to use it for the group.
