Nope. They should not be brought back and need to remain exclusive. You had more than 1.5 years to get them, more than enough time.

That is not fair for all of wow players. Most people actually have a life thatā€™s not wow, people who donā€™t have the time.

I would be far more interested if time-walking re-introduced the ā€œchallengeā€ mode versions of these dungeons in a truly ā€¦ challenge mode. With the same rewards as in the past.

It would be far more compelling than what we have now. A boring and time-consuming slog.

Letā€™s be honest, with the exception of time reaver mount (unicorn), timewalking is only really useful for ā€œextra xpā€ or if your toon literally just dinged cap. This far into the gameā€™s history, pretty much everyone has all of the badge loot and giant pools of badges for any new ā€œmountsā€/ā€œmogsā€ they add in the future.

Time-gating may seem like a useful retention mechanic in the short-term, but it does nothing for the long-term health of the game.

And itā€™s not fair for those who did a time based expansion based challenge to have their exclusive skins given out again because of jealousy. You had more than enough time.

Ask for a new mage tower with new skins.

The reward should be for the completing the ā€œchallengeā€ ā€¦ not because you were able to login back in July of last year.

Donā€™t care. There are plenty things in WoW that not all WoW players get to do. And ā€œhaving a lifeā€ has nothing to do with completing the Mage Tower during Legion.

Fortunately, that is never the way Challenge Modes have worked. You want the Legion Challenge Reward, you do it during Legion.

There is no way it could be brought back without a ton of constant work.

Part of the challenge was doing it within the time frame. Like a m+ timer that lasted a year. Try again.

We can debate this until weā€™re blue in the face but theyā€™re not coming back. Ever.

They even got rid of a ring which has no transmog ability. Theyā€™re certainly not going to bring these back.

Love it or hate it, itā€™s gone. Itā€™s time to just accept it.

What you do with it is on you. Now all you have to do is threaten to unsub and youā€™ve hit all the ā€œIā€™m bad at game and entitledā€ talking points.
