Yes, that’s exactly what she said. I knew this person on a personal level and knew she had serious issues going on IRL to cause her to hinge too much of her self worth into WoW. Obviously this doesn’t apply to everyone - just pointing out that those people do exist. It’s sad no matter how you look at it or what stance you take.

i have the cat and bear forms. i really want more recolors like a dark version of the current colors and the same custom system that moonkin have but using the Legion “assets”
These people need to earn gladiator if they’re this seriously insecure about their only form of achievement that was easy to get anyways.
Or a therapist. Either one works.

I get the sentiment, but you gotta realize that blizzard made that decision on behalf of people with them. It’s not like they asked anyone with them. So it’s solely a blizzard decision. These people just like to see folks squirm sometimes

Eh I have all 36, I wouldn’t mind recolors but Id personally prefer the originals staying gone. After I got AOTC KJ in that tier I basically skipped almost all of the Argus patch to focus on getting as many as I could since they said they were limited time. I missed out on MoP and WoD CMs and didn’t want that to happen again with Legion CM. So I gave up playing most of the final patch in order to level toons and gear them up enough to get it all done. That’s why it rubs me the wrong way when people say “oh it was so easy.” I put a ton of time into doing them all, got several done during early-mid Tomb (definitely still wasnt easy 3 or 4 weeks into Tomb) and spent the rest of my time prepping characters. That was a massive time commitment. Quit my heroic guild when the choice was “do progression this patch or leave”, cleared Argus normal with another of my more casual guilds and that was all the time I spent not focused on MT.
If they were gonna come back some day I probably woulda just avoided doing at least half of them and done something else with my time. But they said they were going away forever and that’s what I based my decision on.
So, no, not all of us are okay with them coming back.

I have all of them, My opinion is that I genuinely do not care. As an adult man I do not really take pride in being around at the right time to do something.
My preference would be that ALL content is evergreen and that everyone had the ability to do it with the same mechanics / challenge that it had at the time. (Such as a Legion Server, with rotating seasons for PvP + PvE). However, at the end of the day I do not care for exclusivity. You could be the greatest player but because you were not around for a period or you did not have time during that period, you will never have a chance to get it. I do not like that.
Although the trivialization of content has been a concern (and preference is that we do not obtain things this way), I would rather it be obtainable and trivialized than gate kept.
As someone who only has 2 of them, I hope they remain locked away forever. It’s principle. We shouldn’t be rooting for Blizzard to break their word. If Blizzard had never decided to retire these appearances, I would support that too. But they did. So they need to keep their word.

I own one (Balance Druid), and I always found it odd that they decided to remove them. Like, what if some new player saw those as part of a transmog and decided they wanted to get them, only to find out that they never will because they weren’t playing at that time? Would be kind of a dick move, really.

Because appearance includes both the 3D model and color I guess that’s why.
I don’t mind returning some lame recolor skin.
Meh. I wouldn’t say going back on their “word” about a cash grab item that was replaced by another cash grab item is the same thing.
