I say this as someone that got like… four of them for the specs I main and has used the Veng DH one since the second I got it. So, not someone that got them purely for collection or challenge purposes.
I’d like to see them add new color versions of them instead. That way people can earn them in some way, the originals still stand out, and both people who do and don’t have them get something new out of it.
Basically the way they handled guardian’s bear form reward but more than just a single very specifically themed option.

I just want the weapon skins, don’t care if I get the achievement at all. Give people unique titles or something, whatever they want. I just hate when really cool looking, unique cosmetics are just sitting there in the appearance menu and I know I will never be able to acquire them, no matter how much time passes or how much effort I’m willing to put in to get them.
It’s extremely annoying, and whoever at Blizzard still maintains keeping these locked forever is someone who I frankly do not want working on this game anymore. That kind of attitude towards game design is stupid.

Pretty sure most of us don’t care at all. Blizzard are the ones withholding them, not us. Other people already have them. What difference does it make if more other people have them as well?

I don’t care about mounts, titles, achievements, anything like that. Make those super exclusive and hard to get, whatever.
But making cosmetics FOMO is just stupid to me. Me making my character look cool shouldn’t be put behind a wall of having played this game like 10+ years ago. Especially for Legion class hall questlines that are still very much enjoyable to go back and play to this day. Like that content could be so good still and they just went “these are gone forever” when I’d be happily working on getting them today at my own pace.
Idk I keep seeing alot of people who are anti fun like the one above you they need to feel special.

I have used the frost dk mage tower skin since legion. Wanna know how many people whispered me or talked to me about them ? 0 No other players care about your special pixels but you. If you need others to be envious of you…

Best just to ignore them lol. I don’t know what would motivate someone to be this weird about not wanting other people to use weapon skins in a video game, but whatever it is probably doesn’t make them very pleasant company to talk to.
