"mage tower is too hard"

Gonna be real on this one. I got my first MT on April 27th 2017. Tomb didn’t launch till June 2017. I did mine in nighthold gear and Legion Season 3 PvP randomized stat stuff.

That being said? Tugar feels much worse now than he ever did back then, and it’s incredibly discouraging. I know people are gonna tell me to just get good - but to fight for 10 minutes and just get 1-tapped by his worm who quite literally hit me for 10.5k when I only have 7k health is ridiculous. It feels overtuned. So does most of the other encounters.

The reality is we had borrowed power back then in some form or another through artifact weapons and these encounters were designed with borrowed power in mind. Now we have none of that, and the ideal setup is to go run old raids for socket stacking gear. Am I really the only person who sees some kind of problem with that line of thinking from a development standpoint?
