I tried it one time on my Sub Rogue main. I CLEARLY don’t have the AOE dmg to destroy the frost fast enough, and nothing I do can change that because the gear scales.
You shadowstep to the farthest ice shard to get out of it.
Doesn’t help much at all, the AOE still ticks twice in that time and 75% of my HP is gone. Overtuned.
I did all of them except healer challenge back in Legion, when it was balanced correctly, not trying it again til it’s nerfed.
I could see BM Hunter still being doable even with wonky scaling as long as you know the fight. It mostly relied on interrupts, once you got the rhythm of it down you could just go through cycles and cycles of the guy’s patterns. Doing a few more wouldn’t hurt.
It sounds like there are specifically problems with the fights where they relied on you being able to burn through the boss’s HP in a set time (due to HP buffs) or with you being able to soak some unavoidable damage (due to damage buffs). That’s probably a good deal of the fights.
Yeah and you did it with legion legendaries, artifact weapon traits and abilities, and most likely some form of out gearing/tier set bonus. You’re really not able to see the difference between then and now?
Guarantee you won’t respond to this because it completely refutes your dumb thread lol
Imagine being able to utilize your gear in it’s respective Timewalking event
If the rewards matched the content diffictulty the m+ kids would lose their minds.
No one is saying “i dont want a challenge.” … pointing out how overtuned certain things are, to the point of actually not even being possible, isnt in the same galaxy as “i dont want a challenge.”
Sucks that things that are so obvious need explanations.
That’s crazy talk lol
I did it as BM. Literally the same. Cycle through interrupts and don’t get hit by stuff. GG.
try the tank one, gg
Next on the list!
Do you know how they are surviving the dot phase part with all the clones?
Shadowstep and cloak, you can kill a clone for protection if you have too.
I just tried the tank one. Good God, when I did this back in legion I dont recall ever having more than 5 active infernals the entire fight. I had one pull where I had like 5-6 infernals up (I couldnt tell anymore from the sheer volume of mobs casting that knockback) and the first phase boss still had 25% health (with all of his drain life casts interrupted).
all the DHtards will get their shinies.
furry guardians, go home.
Damn. Someone that makes sense. This is crazy! Can you hang around the forums more?!
Those players can do WQ’s. Quick and easy content.
Good point, it’s certainly not the same scenario years ago. But nonetheless, complains will continue because mage tower was not made for casual content. It was made for hard content you need to learn and beat solo. Yet we have people proclaiming the game needs more “solo content” and when we get it, they complain. Yes I did have a tier set back then and was decently geared when mage tower came out, but not all that good either till later on.
Yep sounds like blizzard did scale kruul to how it was when it launched in 7.2 and not the nerfed state it had to be in for it to be on the same level as the other challenges. This is coming from experience but needing an actual timewalking set to even stand a chance against these is overkill. Something can be hard and challenging while not being overtuned.
This is completely on point. Most players love the challenge. It’s the select loud few on forums wanting all content to be faceroll that is unfortunate.
