I think my strategy is just what you need to beat it. I made a post about phase 2 Xylem on the forums. Look it up for a neat tactic and I hope it helps.
Revert it to PTR Status, where bosses etc was not HP and DMG buffed by 150%.

In addition Iād like to see if the lower clear rate specs had suddenly needed an authenticator approval to sign in from a new device just before clearing the challenge

Yup, and while itās not a 100% clear cut RWT type thing, it would show bliz that potentially alot of people did indeed do that
Iāve tried it about a dozen timesā¦ I canāt manage the DPS in P2. It sort of feels like it did in Legion, but it does seem more difficult and the DPS check is definitely real. I canāt say that Iāve farmed/purchased any of the recommended gear, or even consumables- due to not getting far in P2, but Iām sure with the right setup itās more than doable. Iāll keep trying, but Iām in no hurry for this one, still prefer the old Bearilla.
Letās see another 10% drop, along with 20% drop to variss to match.
Add this in for druids. More time between each smash.
Also, lower the damage ramp of annihilate, or give our toons better scaling for more DPS.

After my ill-fated effort and response from support confirming a bug with not receiving the achievement and form. I and others suffer from completing the challenge and not getting the form and achievement we rightfully earned.
"I can imagine how devastating this all has been. Firstly, I want to say great job in completing the tank challenge. It was always the most difficult one in my opinion. Reading over our known issues, we have seen reports over this issue cropping up. Currently we arenāt able to assist due to customer support not having the troubleshooting data to temporary fix it.
In the meantime, I submitted my own bug report for the issue. Our teams are looking into it"

Not clear what happened hereā¦
Finally getting attempts in at the final boss in the resto sham challenge.
Was about to do itā¦ finallyā¦ i had itā¦ was ahead in dps, had lots of floor space leftā¦ yadda yadda.
NPCs were all 80ish to 90ish percent. I had myself around 20%. Boss jumps on me, i move out of the puddle, still around 20%. Debuff goes off, pretty minimal damage to the npcsā¦ all still pretty high. I toss a riptide on jarrod and refresh his earth shieldā¦ boss turns and one shots him from around 70%. What happened?
are you changing your talents during the intermission?
iāve kinda give up, iām not feeling the strenght to do once again this fight.
thatās really exaughting to do 70+ tries and still not succeed to do it just because āā donāt have enough damage āā
