Mage Tower Appearance

Hi there,
Is there any chance that the Legion Mage Tower would be back? I personally really love the Guardian Druid Challenging Artifact Weapon Appearances.

I noticed that next week Legion legacy loot would be available, if Mage tower would be back that would be amazing, or something like we could get the mage tower appearance after player complete Horrific Vision 5 masks.

This is just my personal opinion. Love to hear any feedback.

Mage Tower was limited content for the time it was available.

It won’t be back.

Saying that, I’d love to see future challenges that reward completely different appearances, which keep the integrity of earned items from past content.

If you’ve missed Legion’s Mage Tower, you’re outta luck…

If you wanted the mage tower skins you should have done them at the time just like I didn’t.
When/if they do a second mage tower I will be sure to be subbed at get them though so it’s marketing has worked now all they need to do is release the 2.0 in a content lull and they will get carpel tunnel from counting their cash.

I’d love dayglo kitten but I’ve come to terms with not getting it. Only mage tower appearance I got were holy and prot paladin. I’m ok with it.

I didn’t get it either.
Most not fun thing in WoW I ever attempted.
Wanted to smash my computer trying it many times.
Had every buff, pot, legendary, guide, etc. Nope. No can do.

You shouldn’t have needed any of that. It was more a one button macro and not messing up…

it was so trivial by the end of legion that if you didn’t get it, it was completely on you.

For me, it was mostly “not interested/geared for that spec”.

Nah man I had the macro, i had everything. There was literally just some mental mechanic about the whole thing I couldn’t get past, couldn’t do it.

I thought it was so difficult, that I was under the impression that barely anyone ever completed it, except elitist.

It should’t come back. Would be a slap in the face to everyone who did it when it was challenging. For the record I did at 910 ilvl with bad legendarys. It like challenge mode skins. It should remain retired. Bringing it back would be a slap in the face to us.

There are two types of players to consider:

  • Those who were on hiatus and missed out
  • Those who dragged their feet or weren’t skilled to complete it

It is unfortunate if you were in the first bucket and RL got in the way, but that happens from time to time and life moves on. It’s no different than missing out on that AotC or CE achievement.

For the latter group, you literally had months to wrap this up and the removal of the content was plastered all over wowhead for several months. If you were in this group, you have no one to blame but yourself.

I’m all for some new challenge mode content to be introduced, perhaps thats the idea with Torghast that the legendaries we can craft will be things that we won’t be able to do post Shadowlands; so my advice would be to not wait next time around and figure out what you want to accomplish and start early.
