I’m having the hardest time deciding between these two classes. The primary thing I will be doing is queuing arenas with my rogue friend, either in 2s or 3s. We want to actually try and push fairly high. Being as I work full time and have my kiddos when I’m off, I can only realistically play one character. I’ve been spamming skirms on the Beta and both feel really fun, but I just can’t seem to decide between the two. Any advice would be much appreciated.
Mage. 100%.
Pick whichever class you like more and don’t worry about how well they will do in arena.

Mage sits well with rogue in both 2s and 3s.
If you just want to push 2s and 3s then play mage, hands down. Anyone who says otherwise is trolling you. And the trolls will come. Warlock is my overall favorite class but mage is what you are looking for if that is your goal.
Go mage imo
if you only have time to play one toon, play the one you’ll enjoy the most.
they are both s tier classes and both play amazingly well with rogue, i don’t think you can go wrong with either
