Serious question. If blink removing a stun every 15 seconds is so powerful, why do many elite PVP mages take shimmer over blink currently?

Because being able to land a polymorph near 100% of the time is better.

It’s also OP as all hell.

Because of how retarded it is easy to land cc with it.

And removing a stun every 15sec in arena is extremely valuable.

Lol. I came back to my mage in BFA since not playing it since cata. I coasted to 2100, got my enchant and said yep this is stupid.

I also feel like the PVE element of shimmer is being neglected. I could see blink being the PVP version, but having shimmer in PVE helps a ton. Especially when playing the arcane turret spec.

I think its best we just ignore the Rogue who has no idea what he’s talking about and move on with actual conversation. I still think Blizzard needs to just make Shimmer baseline even if its only 1 charge. The regular blink on GCD is just irrelevant and useless now-a-days.

It would free up so much potential for each spec in that talent row alone.

You don’t have a single pvp achievement. Mages are OP in BFA. Shimmer was stupid and needed nerfed.

alter time is a 2 min CD LOL your logic is well not logic

I agree except I do like blink more than shimmer I think blink should have 2 charges and they can up the CD to 20 sec like shimmer and you can choose between the 2 or even prune shimmer and merge blink and shimmer to have the combined effects breaking stun and being able to cast with 1 charge and put deep freeze on the shimmer talent spot
