Mad World Achievement

This is blatently not true. I run a hunter through weekly and all the main mechanics always target you. The only noteworthy one that doesn’t is the hulk in Maghar wing in Org.

Shaman wing
Faceless guy targets you for charge and fist
End boss hits you with AOE silence and waves go for you

Maghar Orc wing
Hulk does throw pet which doesn’t cause sanity
Blob pukes stuff at you
End boss definitely goes for you

Drag
Faceless guy targets you for bouncing balls and pushback beam
Inquisitor targets you for stun beam

Rexxar wing
Misha is a free kill whose mechanics dont matter
Giant bug does target you for poison pools
Piggies on Rexxar hit you with sanity and initially charge you

Thrall aims his smashes at you and not the pet

SW is quite similar with all noteworthy mechanics going for you over the pet (bombs, jumps, shaw teleport chase, etc).

The “I win” button is pretty much all melee. DH cause DH, ret pally is surprisingly broken and bubble can literally cheese any boss because it also prevents sanity loss whereas similar immunities like AMS do not.

The absolute worst spec, by far, is shadow priest. I did my 2 5 mask runs to prove to myself I could and that is it.

Definitely not mage, that’s for certain.

I ended up using both a specialized arcane build for AoE, and my raiding single-target Frost build to get them done. They did get easier when I learned you could actually swap specs in the middle of a vision.

But yeah visions just aren’t friendly to casters in general.

I did it with this Shaman, as Enhance, around 455ish item level the first time I 5-masked.
Melee have an easier time overall with the exception of Alleria.

Demon Hunters and Paladins can ignore or bypass a lot of things in visions.
Death Knight is right behind them thanks to anti-magic shield and icebound fortitude.

Done it on my lock and BM hunter. Lock was a bit of a struggle initially but now it’s smooth. BM hunter was just funny  go around clicking chests and vials as your pet does the work. You save so much time. Haven’t played melee in bfa but definitely very easy on a hunter.

Nope. I hate all 8.3 content

Got it a while ago before the nerfs. It’s ridiculously easy now with the new leaden foot.

I tried a few times but always died in the last zone, just before Rexxar. Giant bugs get me every time. I’m told Rexxar is very tough, so that’s not encouraging. But I’m done with this. I don’t enjoy working hard on things that just end up blowing up in your face. That’s why I prefer meta achievements like Mecha-Done where it’s a long grind but your chance of success are almost guaranteed. I did the same with the mage tower. I gave up. I hate it when no matter how well you perform, there’s still a high chance you’ll get pummeled to the ground because you were simply unlucky.
