Set up macro. General tab. Copy same macro and make it in Character specific tab.
The macro will just randomly stop working. I will drag that same macro from the Character specific tab and it works again. Until it doesnt. So I drag the same macro from the General tab and it works again. Its just a random bug that randomly happens.

I thought I was going crazy the other day because one of my druid macros suddenly stopped casting Rebirth on dead players. I dragged the actual Rebirth spell onto my bars in case I needed it. A couple days later, someone in my group died, I punched the rebirth macro key out of habit and it worked.
I have a few general macros but I copy/paste files in my WTF folder for character specific because I play multiples of multiple classes and want them to be identical setups.

Yeah if you make the same macro in both your general, and character specific tab, when the one stops working, drag the other to the hotbar and it’ll work again. I keep having to switch even though its the same macros.
