Considering that Eredath is indeed a better name, one wonders why they bothered to call it Mac’Aree (which I like many others did not know was based on a dev name until after this debacle) in the first place.
Heck, why does the guy have this an entire Overawatch character named after him? There are far more important people at Bliz who have less stuff named after them.
Ignoring all the other controversy, it just seems a tad bizarre. Random throwaway NPCs is one thing, but he’s had so much more than that.
