People are not even picky about who to take for M0 already anyway, I don’t see any reason it can’t just be on the random dungeon finder and have Heroic be removed, and give a low level M+ key at the end of it. That means a higher chance of people trying out M+ and a higher chance of getting groups easier/faster for anyone who likes doing M+.

IMO the key system is dated. It was great in legion when it was new but they really should just add it to the LFG or even have both options, keys are random anyways not like much would change and at least then leavers will get a debuff. Just have ratings brackets to keep things somewhat balanced.

raider IO score is in the base game now right? Use that as a filter for mythic + and cap queable mythic + at like 10 or something. Give people a “this is hard content, join at your own risk” warning and stick to the idea that mythic+ and mythic dungeons in que are the same scaling and power as the unqued version, just like queing for a heroic should have the same scale as making a group and walking in yourself.

But yeah on topic, slap an ilvl req and the “you better know what you are getting into” warning on mythic 0s and be done with it. If people start crying, have a blizz mod link them the warning they probably ignored and call it good.

Yeah that sounds great! People who have no experience past a 5 could join 20 keys and completely waste everyone’s time for an hour.

I think it is something that can be queueable. I don’t think the actual keys should be, but the zero most definitely. It can help increase M+ participation if more people are getting keys to build their own groups with. The only downside to queuing is that you’re going to get placed in a group with who you get placed in a group with. Some people like the chaos, some don’t.

I like this. Like gear level, but “skill”

If you completed a +20, you can queue for any difficulty you want. under 20. If your max is 2, then 2 is what you get.

But I do see the queue being spread thin a bit from this. So I get why it wouldn’t be done.

I feel that M0 que able is a good place tho. Maybe even to +5 . But everything else be premade.

Yeah honestly the key system is what would cause the most issues. I admit that I want this because im a dps main and getting declined from a bunch of runs is lame because dps is a dime a dozen. At least i can work on something else while the game finds a party for me if I can que it.

I just wish there was more hard random que content in general. I was one of those weirdos that loved early Cata heroics though. All these tanks pulling like maniacs in normals forcing me to not just use my dps skills but my class utility and defense skills is a ton of fun.

Becaues if M0 is funcitonally repalcing Heroic then it should do so in it’s entirety.

There’s literally no reason for it not to at this stage.

Normal and HC mode are there to complete the game. M0 and M+ is to challenge yourself.

So you want Blizz to invest in resources to satisfy 20 players ? They will not even develop this complex code required to match-make even if they were 1 million of you all.

Try the LFG it is still there.

I feel like Normal achieves that goal. Heroics could be tuned like M0 for those who want a challenge or want to gear for raids.

literally no one shames anyone for running a m0 to get a key.
stop listening to the voices in your head and just make a group.
