I would hope not.
no doubt they can, but I just don’t know how much they do.
for all I know they have multiple terabytes of fight data
but yea, that aside. many players simply aren’t very good. and if blizzard is exposing those numbers - they’re putting themselves on the hot seat a bit.
we’ll start to hear things like “well how am I going to get better if no one will invite me” from gray parsers
I’m not necessarily arguing against it…I guess I’m just playing devil’s advocate. I just see some pitfalls with blizz-generated logs being exposed publicly in lfg
Someone is always going to be on top or at the bottom. Always. Knowing where you’re lacking helps you improve, assuming you have the desire to do so. Having only a timer and essentially a singular path through a dungeon with an exact pull/kite meta doesn’t give players much to go on other than “lulz, you failed. Try again.”
The more pressure you apply to the average person and the higher demand for perfection the more that person will ether rise to meet the challenge or de-evolve into Eric Cartman.
This is kinda like saying “The problem with Heroic and Mythic Raiding is the extra mechanics or the enrages.”
Raid is the capacity for 10-30 players to work together to complete a complex & choreographed task. The higher the difficulty, the tighter the group needs to keep it.
M+ is the capacity for 5 players to work together to complete a task quickly & efficiently. The higher the key, the tighter the group needs to keep it.
Because of the breaks between boss kills in raiding raiders can build and change stratagys.
In Mythic plus there is no breaks for communication or thought to take place in. Thus it reverts to primitave grunting and yelling.
The KEY difference is the BREAKS in between pulls. Now if Mythic plus had a time stop bubble check point after each boss then you could go ahead and make your comparison. However it does not. So your comparison is invalid.

Hahahaha is this a real post
The idea behind M+ is not to be just like raid, but to use a different skillset.
It’s 20-40 minutes long, you plan your route, you adapt to anything happens to go wrong. (Which with Affixes can be a lot.)
No two M+ runs are the same, and that’s the point. It’s testing your small group skills at adaptation by NOT giving you a year and half to decide what you’re going to do.
If you want to be the Witcher and spend 10 minutes prepping for a predictable fight, raid is for you.
If you want to be an 80s action hero racing against the clock, M+ is your thing.
And there’s breaks between M+ runs., just think of them as longer boss fights.
You don’t get to pause Sire between phases for a strat check.

or you can use coms…Blizzard even provides a system if you dont want to use discord.
entire point of the affixes especially fortified is to keep you from making the timer…the timer is what makes M+.
As to your first comment just a preference because those same elitists will join only until a certain boss for certain loot and then leave. That’s really the biggest concern.
Your 2nd point is moot. Just because they did something in the past doesn’t mean it was good or I agree. So yeah. Cheers.
