M+ Random Quitting Ruining Experience

I wouldn’t say people are leaving keys midway randomly… There are factors as to why people leave keys and people up and leaving randomly is not one of them and I don’t buy this excuse.

Someone will leave a run if there multiple mistakes keep being made that costs the key from not timing.

Someone will leave a run if its just simply not happening.

More other things I could list out but if you do fall into those things, I suggest you to look into the mistakes you possibly did in those M+ runs that caused someone to leave and improve on it.

This sounds completely made up.

No one is going to leave a perfect run.

Not really, the amount of times I see someone complaining about leavers in M+ and when I read them some people propose ways to address it and most of them are just bad, if you have anything to propose to how to deal with leavers that isn’t holding someone hostage than be my guest.

there is this other problem, that is entirely being created by blizzard.

why are there no save points after killing each boss. I dont mind suffering through learning boss fights., but now i am being forced to spend half my time running back throuigh an instance, over and over again.

why should i stay with a group, if we wipe once or twice? by the second wipe on a boss, i know that we are going to be wiping on each boss. that means, i could spend hours in that instance, with half of it running back to each boss.

Blizz has taken the time to make the game for playable, and at the same time, they are ensuring that less and less people want to play it. I have been running out of patience. from, disconnects for unknown reasons, being stuck in combat, and why do a mythic, if i have to spend an hour of that time, running back to bosses.

so no, there should not be consequences for people dropping groups, not until blizzard makes it a better experience. Gear dropping is mind numbing dumb. i have gotten so much gear that i cant even equip, and I can’t even trade it. If a person is in a group with me, they can’t even trade that gear to me.

I am seriously getting pissed off at blizzard. SO, dont write some post about why players are dropping group because things are not running perfect. Blizzard is making it pain in the butt. If i am in a mythic, and i wipe once or twice, I am gone. I dont have lots of free time to play this game. i want my time to be productive.

I mean, it happens.

I’ve had people drop group 2 seconds after the key goes in and then /s lol and hearth.

But yeah most of the times these people are just lying. Their “perfect run” means 3 deaths on the first trash pack of TJS and things like that.

I mean how often does one leave a run that is timable and group is going as smoothly as it can get?

OP is making it out like someone up and left randomly after just getting to the last boss with bunch of time to spare.

I will come to an agreement on this and provide from sort of protection to the key holder for situations like this.

Timeable and perfect are pretty far apart. You can have 4 full wipes in some keys and still time them. But a lot of people are leaving on the first wipe regardless.

The solution is pretty simple, just make downgrading keys optional. Then you can just restart if someone leaves.

That just incentivizes keyholders to leave.

Yeah I’ll typically stick around for a key to completion, but if the group is completely incapable of doing simple mechanics (especially after they have been explained) multiple times in a row, then I’m not going to waste time in a key that isn’t going to be completed.

Obviously there are exceptions, like if it’s a learning run or a completion key, but if it’s a normal pug group I have zero obligation to be there if you don’t understand what’s going on, especially if it’s a high key.
