M+ Question for Devokers Vs. Incorporeal Affix

Doesn’t change the fact that one reliable CC is not a lot, and that we could definitely use more CC in PvP. I mean, it’s not like it would unbalance the class. Not when every other ranged has more CC.

And more range to use it.

Name another caster with more potential stops than evoker, especially aoe stops.

This is a pve thread, as you pointed out.

Druids? Spamable roots, vortex, cyclone, slumber (for pets).

That was easy.

A root is not a stop.

Pets are not a thing in dungeons. Cyclone is a pvp cc as well.

This is a thread about dungeon cc.

And still they have less than us.

Buffet, deep breath stun, sleep walk, upheaval, tail swipe, and oppressing roar to increase the CC.

Good work, though.

#1 then neither is avalanche.
#2 ya they are?
#3 no they don’t.

Sure slows are useful, but ONLY for kite tactics, which means personal play more often than not.

Nothing I mentioned was about slows.

We still have more stops than druids in pve.

Hehe…but we haven’t even talked about druids non-ranged options, and you should since they can use them in ranged specs. Like bear slap for example.

And we have more stops in pve than druids still.

And they’re almost all aoe stops.

Care to name them?

I know you’re slow, but I literally listed them a few posts ago.

And they you said roots don’t count and you didn’t mention slows. That leaves?

Oppressive roar is a CC buff, not a CC. Buffet is a knock back. Just a knock back. Tail swipe is a displacer, not even a stun or slow. Deep breath is a solid stun, but terribly deep in the tree.

You’re trying to claim these little tricks as CC when classes like hunter and mage have so much more that are so much easier to use.

You really aren’t quick.

A knockback is an aoe stop.

A knock back is a displacer not a stop. It includes to negative effect other than moving a character, which means it’s useless against classes like hunters or melee with a long range like paladin. As for PvE, it’s no different from a slow tactic like kite. It can interrupt a cast, but only against non elites since most elites cannot be displaced.

Anything that stops a cast is a stop.

As usual, you’re inventing your own things.

Again as you pointed out, this is a thread about dungeons. PvP has nothing to do with this.

By stop you mean interrupt. Interrupts do not count as CC. Try again.

Ah whatever, you can’t argue with fools.

An interrupt that physically incapacitates for any period of time is cc.

The cc is what’s stopping in this case.

Learn the game.

We’ve all learned this from trying to respond to your moronic takes and lack of understanding of the game and the evoker class.

Take it easy bud, I’ve wasted enough time with you.

You’ve wasted everyone’s time. Imagine arguing that mild utility is the same as sustainable CC like sheep or ice trap or root or banish.

Yeah the part where they slowly walk towards you is … unique.
