M+ Needs to Change

Dropping this here. No to removing timers. No to removing keystones.

Easily. Lets say you lose a game of chess in 4 moves, well know you have seen where you went wrong and won’t lose to that opening strat but you then lose in 5 moves. You see the progression path?

The change to crests on untimed keys was to slow down the gearing curve. Much like your point of not downgrading keys, it allowed you to fail upwards at the same rate as a successful run

What’s been toxic about this discussion?

I was making a mostly true yet sarcastic joke dude

That’s not really comparable. M+ is nothing like chess. Chess is about isolated strategies in individual matches, while M+ depends on repeated behavior, teamwork, and consistent execution. Improvement in M+ comes from adapting throughout the entire run, not from quitting after a few pulls. Disbanding early just robs players of the chance to learn and grow.
