exactly, its how it SHOULD work, or atleast, itl be a step into implementing a better system
Why were you kicked from a raid?
No it shouldn’t. If you think that you have no basic understanding of how MPlus works.
You also clearly don’t do the content.
Explain how this is a better system. You’ve not done that at any point.
Why is completely reworking M+ to be the only non-mmr system in the game where you can actively lose your placements that you earned better?
Biggest reason stated, “it will prevent leavers” or another reason “incentive to stay” which is the same thing worded differently.
It’s just another person salty about someone leaving their key.
Right but if you win or lose rating in pvp it’s because you won or lost to someone else with a higher or lower rating. It isn’t the same thing as attempting and beating a scripted fight at a locked difficulty level while depending on 4 other people to also do their jobs. Yes you have partners in pvp but in many cases you can win a 1v2 or just in general as it’s never a scripted encounter and your sole ability to beat someone who may have a higher rating than you is where your actual rating is coming from. This is just vastly different from pve and a representation of your score should simply reflect how high youve been.
If you run up your rating in pvp cause you go on a winning streak against bads all day then get dumped on for a week by better players…you’re score should reflect that. That’s accurate. But if I time three 12s with a good group…I should be able to time that again of others are looking to group with me they can see my score.
If I lose all week to better players and I lose score for it players should see that too because pvp is ever changing. Pve is simply not…it’s just your ability to beat a scripted encounter and it’s never gonna reflect anything other than that. They are in the same game but vastly different when it comes to representing where a players sits.
surething buddy, anyways, its current implementation is just a battle pass system, thats competitive with others for titles…but sure, lets take away rank 1 title then if its not competitive, aswell as scores, throw it all in the bin then
Shouldve said “M+ shouldn’t give rating unless timed completion”
I also misunderstood the thread
Because it stops people from farming Crests, extends the season a bit longer so more people can participate, and actually might legitimize the people who say M+ is ‘the toughest content in WoW’.
If you’re going for this and you die a few times in a high key it’s wraps. No need to complete lol
It already doesn’t, unless the untimed key is still a lot higher than your previously timed key. This still demonstrates the system is working as intended since it shows you can finish the key but not in time.
Which funny enough is how it happens for higher keys.
I could argue in favor of this. it’s kind of broken that people get rating for failure.
In its current implementation it’s a measure of your best performance each season, because that is the intent of the system. Are you trolling or do you genuinely still not understand this concept?
i honestly dont think you set foot in an arena in a while…the only situation this happens in its in arenas…and against hardstuck 1200 cr players, even then, its rare, you still rely on your team to push higher ratings
exactly…if you join a bad group, then you lose the rating…
no, pve is also ever changing considering they update class talents and system reworks with almost nearly every single patch drop, aswell as constant boss nerfs if they see fit…
my point again, if its not a competitive system, then why even have a score…its literally a battle pass in disguise like delve progression ,exept you compete with other players, when others are involved, in a point based system, you have a competitive ranking game here where you should be able to lose rating based on performance
If you still don’t understand after several people explaining it to you, then I’m afraid you are either too dense for anyone to penetrate or you are actively choosing to not read.
do you? when other players that factor your success in a rated system, it doesnt simply become a “measure of your best performance”
Both can exist at the same time. You can frame your best performance each season, while also having an average of ALL your runs.
Your mplus rating is not a competition…at all. The only competition you have with your mplus score…is you.
Yes, it is. It is a sum of your best performance in 8 dungeons, based entirely on the level completed and the percentage of time remaining on the keystone.
That is all the system is.
