Technically, you have 30 days to open mail. 30 days is a form of time xD
BlizzUI Give you a blank canvas in my opinion.
I donât run pretty much any crazy Addons/WAâŚ
I have custom WA for my Ele Shaman because my brain just canât deal with Luxthoâs/Afenars class weakauras outside of the basics.
Blizzard could do better, but I also donât like the stock UI, and playing on PC and a Steamdeck, Iâm glad I can heavily customize my experience as thereâs no way Iâd want the UI on my PC to be the SteamDeck UI and vice versa.
You donât need WAs to do end game content either⌠our Guardian Druid parses 99s, is an amazing tank, and has little to no WA for the raid fights or his class.
I love how people are just now realizing that the timer sucks. Itâs always sucked. Iâve had this opinion since they first started m+.
Key being available to two dungeons would be killer.
So would having it at least have 2 attemps. I personally think this would solve a lot of issues but, I am also not a high key player.
So hear me out. If we removed the timer, it will go back to do you bring a CC? Vanilla and BC discriminated heavily against classes that did not have CC, aka warriors, shadow priest, warlocks depending on enemy type, paladins would only be healers or tanks, now add dk to that list, and even demon hunters outside of one pre fight CC. You just alienate so many classes and specs by just removing the timer. If the timer goes, a radical class rebalance would have to happen and completely upend the meta.
All Iâm saying is, if you think you are bored now, because keys are too hard and the timer sucks, wait until all the dungeons take 4+ hours to complete because of wiping and then ccâing every single pack and waiting for cooldowns.
Blizzard built the untimed dungeons on heroic to be trivial and the gear rewards in other areas were so high that heroic dungeons ceased to serve a purpose.
Iâd love to play a hard dungeon that required skill and coordination to complete but which wasnât on a timer to be fun.
But as it is, that challenge doesnât exist in the game.
I think the closest the game ever came to that is the megadungeons, especially their hard modes.
Put a piece of black tape over the part of the monitor with the timer and if you have real friends you can still do M+ as a suck.
-=T=-
Yall just want easier content
Literally just donât do M+ then.
Would be solved if people who didnât like M+ just didnât do it.
If you donât want a timer just ignore it? You can still complete the dungeon and get loot. Or just run m0.
Why do people make weird baseless claims like this.
What issues? Why 99% of issues? Whatâs the other 1% of issue(s)? How does the removal of a timer solve said issues?
Raids are a carryover from an outdated game format and a period in our lives that no longer exists. I wonder what small percentage of players still want to carve out one or perhaps several time-slots in their week in order to do a weekly two hour dungeon. Removing the weekly lockout would solve 99% of the issues. Mythic+ is timed and does not have a weekly lockout; the challenge lies within the content and executing it at a competent pace.
I want to hang out with my friends and tackle something new or challenging. I want the experience. Not the artificial âchallengeâ created by lazy timegating.
. . . I could go on, but Iâm sure anyone with a pulse and two neurons to rub together can understand the point of me mocking OPâs post.
Removing M+ would kill the game, thatâs the reality.
Classic and every other MMO seems to function fine without M+
Yeah so horrible that it single handedly carried the last 3 expansions.
M+ is the most popular form of endgame content in any mmo in history, by every metric.
You donât like it, and thatâs ok. But the hyperbole is somewhat off putting. Imho, raids need to be modernized. Nobody wants to play middle management simulator in 2024. 10 man raids was where it was at.
Youâll never force people to schedule their lives around the game. If m+ was removed, the game would just die.
I want the timer, I just want fewer mechanics so I can combine more pulls. The difference between a super high IO player and an average player should be their ability to execute massive pulls, not their ability to do some arbitrarily hard affix.
But you wanna know something? If a group takes forever to clear a dungeon there is a penalty! They simply wont be able to run as many dungeons per unit of time, and thus it would take players longer to gear as well.
Time is a resource
Except due to the changes, M+ participation has suffered severely, and the introduction of delves cannibalized part of the M+ crowd as well. Why do M0-M6 when you can get more faster from doing delves?
Youâve never done any hard content huh?
