For me the issue is I can’t tell what hurts until I do the harder content. It’s like Torghast Layer 8 Floor 15/16. Before 8 you can get by just by some dumb luck, and also by perhaps brute forcing things. After that point I start realizing what I wasn’t paying attention to or started to notice but wasn’t fully grasping.
So the problem is in how the content teaches you how to do it, how noticeable the dangerous stuff is, and this is further inundated by player skill and classes that can cause others to ignore it cause they can spam heals or whatever.
Perhaps Blizzard could adapt Plater functionality into their new UI somewhat to help with this in M+.

I remember Twisting Corridors. I was stucked at Layer 7 becoz I felt I didnt have enough gear to Solo it during its patch. It took several months to pass before I made another attempt. I did it when I was at my highest ilevel gear… It’s on 2 weeks before Shadowlands ended. I was really at my best ilevel gear… weeks after getting KSM on Season 4. And the Last Boss still threw punches on me… kicked my azz on first attempt. I was using a Pet as MM. Then I started to get serious… get rid of the pet… to get rid of micromanaging a weaksauce pet and got serious with the mechanics and with my OP Anima powers. Then I beat it.
Will use the same Strat in DL. I really have to gear up… Enough gear to beat it. Overgear it if I have enough play time.
Hope Blizz wont eliminate me… fail to get KSM as Casual in DL. If I fail, I feel majority of Casuals would fail with me. Then I could say DL is really a Game Not for Casuals. I am hoping I could still beat it before next Season. Or else, I might start thinking of retiring from WoW. I am not that super lazy. I get my Vault and weeklies done stepping up the difficulty one to two step at a time. Will see.

Correct. It’s been nearly two years. Also, some of these people explicitly say they got KSM starting in SL S2, when it was SL S1 that was the toughest.

Looks like I’ll be knocking on +19 come the last week of season 3 then. Oh yeah!
Upstairs in RLP scares me. Flamegullet is a bully, especially when pulled when meant to be skipped.
End Game is Horrendous right now to be honest…

Season will be ~6 months long, until the end of Spring. There’s plenty of time to push. People are still in the gearing phase right now.
You are putting too much weight into score alone. What was their highest key times for the specific key you are running? How many +15s have they time overall? Both metrics that tell more than 2000 score.

Multiply it by 11 for suckers like me who decided to try tanking and ended up on Brewmaster Monk. A tank so bad you can barely call it a tank. I dont even log in to do mythic + right now. These devs have to be joking.

unlucky.
in @2262 rn through 99% puggin and it was fairly smooth so far
9 over in ruby gave me 0 points. But I’m not sure if that was “0 points” or just not enough to give me any points since I had other timed.
Prideful wasn’t criticized for being an s1 affix, it was criticized for being tight in general. One extra pull and pride is messed up. That will be disliked in any season.
People successfully finished high keys just fine tho.
Well, no. First, we had prideful s1 so no reason to think blizz won’t make “complex” affixes again. Two, thundering can be predicted and routes planned around mob chain pulling, which pugs won’t do. And lastly, people were doing 15s first week. People are doing +23s. Why is it an issue? OPs deal is pugs being ignorant, which wouldnt have been solved in S1 of any other expacs anyways.
If you spec tank and que your own key up, you would easily be able to get 15’s done before the end of the season. This is what I did, and I was in 15’s at your current ilvl. Just que your own keys, and invite over-qualified players, instead of applying to under-qualified players and doing their key.

I think raiders do the same thing every time a raid is over-tuned.
I mean we’re talking about massive groups of people here, I’ve definitely seen both groups doing it.
They should just remove him entirely or gut him and adjust % values accordingly. It should NEVER be the case that standing around for 30 seconds waiting for an enemy to fly away is the always correct choice.
Prideful’s issue was it was in a time where failing it cost keys and the affix did nuclear damage. Routing it wasn’t the hard part as people had it figured out early on by simply messing around in MDT and seeing what routes gave convenient count breakdowns.
The issue is the dungeons were tuned around it so if you ever wiped to Tyrannical Hakkar the key was bricked since you needed lust+pride to kill him.
Another problem with prideful is that if somebody butt-pulled a mouse and threw off the %% count, in a dungeon where there were no side packs to adjust it, the key was ruined because you wouldn’t have prideful on a boss or whatever.

The largest issue with M+ right now is the balance between them. Most of the ‘returned’ dungeons are fine, especially with todays adjustments to TJS. It’s the newer ones with their obscene kick requirements, move-instantly-or-die mechanics and oppressive timers (looking at you, azure vault) that all need significant re-evaluations.
