it’s a tournament format where you have an opens phase where lots of teams compete and then you take the victors of those and hold an invitational phase to determine whos the best.
The purpose of having the 2 phases is to weed out most of the contenders in the first phase because there would simply be too many teams/individuals competing to hold the whole tournament otherwise.

We’ve had mulitple tiers full of multiple bosses where if even 1 or 2 people mess up mechanics, the raid wipes.

Content where if you mess up, you die, and other people die too. Even on normal nathria if you ignore sludgefists chains mechanic outside of a couple niche spells, thats two people dead, in theory gear could get high enough that people will ignore it but that’ll be well into the future after castle nathria is no longer considered current.

Add eye-stealth to the mob and they won’t be able to skip it, the same way the assassin works in the maw. This whole shadowmeld skip thing only works in MDI, average players dont try it.

Then they should add the player-chasing mechanic the assassins have. They chase you down relentlessly.
MDI is the reason why we have AOE cap. So they can slow down big pulls and make the event more exciting and last longer, sadly.

Do they get to practice with fully decked out geared toons at max level? If not, I cant imagine putting a ban system in place would be ok. Theyd have to level and gear every toon and practice all different variations. That’s alot of time
On the tournament realm they are given everything, all gear enchants max level toons and even keys to practice with.
