M+ 7-9 keys No incentive

that is not a good incentive. 216 il is not good in the long run. 8-9 are stepping stones to get to the actual good rewards from 14’s and 15’s 8-9’s just have the least added value of dungeon rewards in the entire loot table. its the hardest difficulty right now to overcome and it offers very little reward. 8-9 are the hill to climb so u can get to the better stuff. 216 stuff is a joke in a couple weeks. but rn 8-9 are a royal pain in the butt that do not give any progression reward while climbing those keys. keys 7,8,9 offer no additional reward besides io. the end of weekly box has more of an incentive to complete 1- 10 key than to do 10 8’s or 9’s because any 220 il is better than every 216 item.

He’s probably the tank we had in our group the other day who left on the second to last boss when it become we weren’t going to time it.

…in ToP. So…literally had to spend another 10 minutes in the dungeon to get a 20% chance at loot and decided to just waste everyone’s time by leaving.

Yeah ok whatever.

if im in a group and we make it to the final boss and then fail the timer, im not leaving im not that guy. ill finish that. but if we are 10 minutes into the dungeon and wiped 3 times… im out

I mean if we can’t even clear a first trash pack without 3 wipes I’d probably leave too tbh.

But if we are 15m+ in I usually Just stay. I’m not some high competitive player anyway I’ve only completed up to +7 key.

Yeah uh…that is not at all true.

You said you were that guy, now you are walking it back because you realize everyone hates you.

Been like that since the concept was added to the game.
10s and higher are the goal.
The reason you do those keys is because you need to to get to 10 and higher though.
If you are not aware of that, best to stay away from pugging.
Very very rude of you to treat groups like this that are struggling to get to the level of progression they want.

Wish io tracked abandoning parties early so scum like you get denied groups.

Also the reason would be to add to your great vault.

You speak the truth, but prepare to get 404’d that’s what happened to someone else’s thread a few days ago, it got false flagged.

how about basic human decency?

Considering at 500 io I’m in the top 21k players
in thee world and not even doing 7-9 yet proves your claim that the “majority” of players do 7-9 is considerably outlandish and just plain wrong.

Why are you queing for 8-9’s if you don’t need gear from them?

You should only que at key levels you can get upgrades fom. If you’re not getting invited to 10’s or higher, push your own key. It’s really that simple.

Don’t join other peoples group and then leave. You can tell before the group starts whether or not it will be successful. The number rule of pugs is always this. You’re likely not completing these keys because of the common denominator(you).

Smart players will always USE THE META COMP. Meta comps tend to consist of the following.

Bloodlust, battle rez, insane trash damage, great ability to interrupt. If you join a group and they don’t have a battle rez or a blood lust, just leave, your likely wasting your time and the person forming the group isn’t very experienced.

Joining random groups, or not pushing your own keys, means you’re just a dummy.

Or it means you just have fun running mythic+ dungeons and aren’t super worried about finishing with +3 or getting up into the super high key territory.

I agree with this though. If you keep experiencing a ton of toxic groups or you are failing keys “over and over” then maybe look in the mirror.

I’ve never tried mythic dungeons but the more I hear about them the more sure I get that I never want to set foot in one. I guess the whole speedrun aspect doesn’t interest me – I preferred cata heroic 5mans when the point was to do it right even if it took time, but I guess this game would die if every expansion felt the same.

Don’t matter to me. Their key. If the run fail so what? There is always a chance to fail even with the top players. As long as I am having fun then who cares.
If you only do things you know will not fail then yea you are missing out in life.

The incentive is in the great vault. You don’t have to beat the timer for a dungeon to count towards options in the vault, you just have to complete the dungeon…

Agree with you

Just go for the IO and gear will come eventually. Your more likely to get invited to groups with a higher IO over a higher ilvl.

Then why are you doing +7’s which drop ilvl 200 gear

This is as stupid as whining that normal raids don’t hold any upgrades for mythic raiders.
