I feel i know the rotations atm fairly well on all 3 sets… so im not panic pressing and losing.
Anyways…
I’ve fought a Warrior, Ele Shaman, Paladin, Hunter in random duels while questing. And made them face me with each class to learn wth is going on.
Besides the Shaman… every battle is seriously a complete disaster and they melt me. crit me. shadow block me. and im not able to even threaten them.
The Shaman… i can get him close… but he can just heal up with ease then burst me down eventually since my heal is weak af.
Is it because it’s level 30 and i just don’t have the tools yet? What’s going on…
I’m like 0-10 v ppl at the moment… and i feel like a sitting duck.
The game isn’t balanced between classes while leveling; however, ensure you use fear to keep the melee away from you and your succubus’ slow/seduce to kite. Use your Felhunter to interupt hard casts from the shaman and devour his buffs. That’s just general advice but everything changes depending on what spec you’re playing against each class.
yeah i dont have Felhunter yet… just the demon. I did fear when i had the chance. Unfortunately only the Shaman and Paladin really allowed that opportunity.
The rest were just doing so much damage so quick, and Hunter had the annoying pet critting me, i couldnt do anything.
As i mentioned before, i tried each spec on them all to really gauge what is going on and why im failing.
Hard to gauge how 1v1s really are early on. Some classes get more tools earlier than others and you really are like a sitting duck and cant counter anything they do.
I think Warlocks do have trouble with those classes regardless though.
Low level warlocks require to much ramp up to really be that great in your 1v1, they are more of a reliant on the team type, once you get going you can nuke some people hard, but with how in your face low levels can be that’s really not something to expect doing during a duel.
Level 29 bracket used to be all about Rogues and Hunters, good Warriors and Paladins would beat you as well. To be honest at that level a good Feral druid would chew you up as well. Casters used to get better later but you just don’t have the health or crowd control at that level.
