You might see a few twinks at first however it takes a lot of gold/materials to create a twink. You will need someone or individuals that have the enchants you will need. Again, I don’t think it will be an issue for a bit.
Just to be clear…True “twinking” is lvl 19. 
I don’t think there are going to be that many “new” players in a 15 year old game. There is no xp in the low level bgs so the only reason to be there is to PVP. If you can’t be bothered to get out of white gear before entering then you deserve to be camped.
I thought I was the only madman. I started playing late in Vanilla slowly and as an absolute noob (I had never played an MMO). Around lvl30 I was invited to a guild and dared ask what a BG was (it was a few days after joining when I was lvl33). Some nice guy explained it to me and I got interested, however he recommended joining not earlier than lvl38. I was too eager and at lvl36 I joined in greens (and not all current) the result was … splat … got totally destroyed. Instead of quitting I started running low level dungeons to fund gear and chants and I ended staying at lvl39 for over a year, I didn’t do the dash to level 70 until few months before WotLK. Learned the ropes with some Karazhan farm runs from my guild and ended up loving raiding in Naxx and ICC (was too busy to raid during Ulduar, did just a few bits as a sub). Needless to say I always had active twinks since. Unfortunately Blizzard caved in to the whiners and made BGs give exp, end of story.
Let’s put the shoe on the other foot - new players ruin the game for twinks. No further explanation necessary. The game comes with loads of baked in rules - limits on what can and cannot be done. Most of those limits are just rules of the road - just part of the game. The Classic game permits twinking. That’s how the game works. New players must accept the game rules or they are going to have a hard time here.
In original vanilla there were twinks at the low level battlegrounds, yes, but it wasn’t as bad as it is now. I remember living in the 20’s battlegrounds for a long time with my NE hunter and grinding out the rep eventually to get the WSG gear for honored or whatever. I’m not saying, “no more twinks” or anything I’m just making an observation of original vanilla days vs. now with twinking. It’s not the same - it’s much worse and less enjoyable personally the way it is now. In original vanilla, I found that the the 40’s bg’s was a good middle ground as twinking had lost a lot of it’s thunder and there’s some actual player skill involved (more than 3 moves to use). I guess I’ll wait and see how it is here.
I just had my first bg today in 30 bracket was shocked how everyone was a twink but, for me it didn’t matter.
But I am assuming what your talking about is something like this, as there were twinks just not so many and I think the reason could be cross realm.
There were far more active twinks in tbc and many expansions after it around those levels, compared to server bgs only classic.
some classes are good in different areas but skill idk about skill, there is probably as much skill as there is at max I think.
It’s a good way to get rid of new players before they get too invested- anyone that leaves by level 19 wasn’t going to enjoy the game at later levels, if anything twinks are doing these people a major favour.
Hating twinks was a part of vanilla that I remember well - it does not need changed.
Wait what…u wanna make a pact that no one will twink at 19? Were you laughing at yourself while typing those words… if u wanna bg at the 10-19 bracket be prepared to die…a lot. If your aren’t 19 your gonna get hammered hard and fast. There’s no real reason to pvp anyways until max level unless your twinking. I’m in the process of leveling a mage. At 12 I entered a few bgs out of boredom. I threw a couple of sheep’s and ran a lot. Cuz that’s about the extent of what you can do at level 12 lol.

Also, wouldn’t you think that it would ruin the game more for new players to discover that PvP is where everybody is forced to play fair?

19 twinks are a fact of life ya guna have to deal with it, that being said heres some tips for people who want to wsg in 10-19, get 19 and have all your skills and the best green gear or better you can afford, there are several rare/blue weps/armor that are 2-5g too, if you need gold get miner/skinner and work those and sell the stuff in ah. when you play wsg yes a lot of the enemy team are very expensively twinked but there are others like you that are not that leet.

This is the mindset that slowly evolved the game into the retail experience we have today. Essentially you are asking that we all cooperate and coddle the new players to make sure they have fun and don’t get discouraged.
It is best if those players who will be discouraged by adversity just leave before they invest more time. We end up with a stronger sort of combatant later on.
LvL 19 WSG is by far the best bg and lvl in game. Its so much fun
if a level 10 enters the 10-19 bracket he IS going to get one shotted. Heck, if you attack a mob 9 levels higher, YOU are going to get one shotted. EVERY player has the same option to get gear to do pvp in, and it is pretty much avail to all. If you are too lazy to get geared, don’t come whining about it here. If you are not a twink and have decent gear for your level, there should be enough twinks on your team to carry you through. If you don’t like it, wait til max level and grind honor. You want low level honor gear you have to earn it. If that means grinding a few instances for some BIS gear, do it! Don’t come here whining because you are lazy and others who put the time and effort into getting gear are spanking you like a circus monkey.
I have seen OP’s QQ the very same at higher levels.
At level 60 I’ve seen someone equip a weapons that is 20 levels lower.
Also seen a level 60 wear level 40 armor in pvp. Seriously that is just lazy.
And then cry…“He one shotted me, they are OP, NERF THEM!”
Low level twinks inspired me to learn to play and to gear for bgs.
