I think they’re trying to shift more of the burden from their servers to our machines, which would save them a boatload of money.
This game becomes more pathetic with every piece of new content… Congrats Blizz…

My latency is 30 ms, there’s something different between us. I think it’s because I haven’t done any instances but I figure it’s best to wait out some addon updates before I go too crazy. No problems with battles in the open world. Good luck to you.
There’s no issue here the Jailer just figured out how to weaponize server lag. It’s part of the storyline arc.

After almost 20 years of wow, you’d like Blizzard would have a clue. Instead of getting better, they get worse every time. This is horrendous. Not to mention that vaults were all screwed up for some toons and not other this week, giving low ivl items like 210 and 213 for toons that did 10-14 level keys and one of mine did a +6 and got nothing at all in the mythic+ vault spaces.
Now you get DC every 30 seconds and send u back to oribos e very time to start over. Ridiculous.

Got all the way to the maw scenario with Ve’Nari and she froze and got me killed once and I lost stygia. A lot of people are having the same issue so unless you have stygia to throw away just quit or go do something else for now before you go to the maw.

Thankfully, the lag got better shortly after my last post. Not perfect, but finally doable.
So…thanks to everyone who gave up and let the poor hamsters running the servers have a break? I guess?
Hope others find a similar break in the lag!
daggerspine has been running REALLY smooth. Almost scary

instant cast pyro on my mage took over 20 seconds… i force logged out.
I seen they had a DDOS attack posted on the bliz launcher. then says the vault is disabled.
Probably still DDOS. Just give it time. no hurry to do this content.

Lag fest…cant play the very first scenario of the new patch. Not a good start or good first impression. Waited and anticipated all day to basically not be able to do any new stuff…what?

Why anyone actually expects a major patch release to go flawlessly at this point given 16 years of precedent showing otherwise is beyond me.
Yes, I am stuck trying to do the ardenweald quest but at least I went into it knowing full well I likely wasn’t going to get much done today.
Yes this is largely Blizzard’s fault, but I know full well it is more due to with just the sheer volume of players trying to bum rush and do stuff.

The wife and I bought 2 New Gaming Computers to Play, we have No Problem with our internet, we disabled all of our add-ons and the game lags so bad its Not Playable!
The problems (lagging) for us started with “the Battle for Ardenweld”.

Because it SHOULD be better by now. We’ve given them billions of dollars collectively. These things should not be an issue anymore.

It will get sorted and its not anything new that any and all other games havent gone through to one extent or another too. Or will go through in the future.
