or maybe i like to take things and merge them
Not a big fan of the idea but at least it is something interesting instead of just another reskinned version of an existing race. So I will give you credit for that but keep in mind that Blizzard would have to be pretty careful as they can’t just blatantly rip off a D&D 5th addition race.
what about a rhino version no one has that yet
I guess? I understand that Blizz crafted Warcraft on the foundations of DnD and Warhammer, but since then I like to think they’ve really come into their own in making the Warcraft universe unique in its own right. Past a certain point, I feel like continuing to suggest that Blizz dedicate its resources to taking things from other franchises while it still has yet to add many races and classes that are already in its own lore borderline feels kind of disrespectful to what Blizz has tried to do over the last two decades.
The problem with the Loxodons is pretty much in the title of this thread. The purpose that the Taurens serve in the Horde is grounding it in contrast to its more vicious and violent elements. The problem with giving the Alliance a new peaceful race is that most of the races in it are already peaceful; the best thing to do in this case would be to give them a more violent race that would give them more of a dark side. The worgen easily could’ve served this purpose, but Blizz ultimately decided to make them pretty clean all things considered. Unless you’re planning on making the the Loxodons dark and edgy, it really feels like you just want them in because they’re from another thing you like. The same goes for your other suggestion of halflings (unless you intend on giving them to the Horde).
what about crossing a human and a rhino and having that as the new alliance race
The Rocksteady people
you would like the be the 1st one
Blasphemy!
would you rather be a pikachu or an elephant
I meant that they got famous with Magic; the Gathering
who got famous?
Wizards of the Coast
but would you like this race
I would like them while also thinking that this isnt the time for another giant race. We need more Belf-like models.
The Horde has belfs, trolls, and undead. We dont. We got screwed on ARs with 2 short races and while i like the Kul Tiran, we didnt need that model.
It wouldnt be logical to make a thin Lox. But from M;tg theyre a great race for a White-deck race.
how about a giant version then
Pretty sure Loxodons are trademarked IP by WotC
what is that
Wizards of the Coast, the company that made Magic the Gathering
got it - maybe they can merge and use them then
