Lowbie Twink PVP

Great response! I play a druid twink. Lol I’m not 1 shotting anyone. I work with other players, twinks and non-twinks alike. I began making mine in response to getting 1 shotted and found out I really enjoyed seeing what my character was capable of.

Lowbie twink PvP has proven more fun for my friends and I than the stale 60 honor/rep grind. I encourage everyone to twink up and come fight! You get no tangible reward so there’s nothing to grind for, it’s just for (gasp!) fun!

… the 80s want their surfer slang back

Nah. You’re all for judging anyone who plays their way, calling them losers, deciding they suck at pvp at 60, when you don’t actually know them at all.

Twinking takes a lot of work. It’s not a shortcut way to avoid level 60 pvp. To get it just right, especially at the lowest levels, takes some real careful planning to avoid accidental experience. It typically requires reasonably good PvE skill on a level 60 main, because someone’s got to earn the gold to put into buying what they can’t obtain themselves.

you’re ugly

LOL nah dude I think I’ll keep my 80’s surfer slang I like it

we say bruh now, dude went out of style

Nah dude,

Bruh is from rappers in the 80’s. Ain’t much different. You guys are just haters. Not everyone worships eminem and dudes with tats all over there face like the zoomers

jsut lol…

Twinking has ALWAYS been a “im too bad at this so i need a ridiculous advantage over everyone else” thing dont, fool yourself

there is zero challenge…outplay…or skill involved in it…and you need those 3 to actually have PVP.

Why dotn you guys spend all that time and gold into your main and into learning how to play on a more even playign field? i migth actual learn hwo to play that way…

Another quote made in ignorance.

m8…twinking has existed for over a decade.

There is a reason WHY it never made it into competitive scene/tournaments…

ZERO challenge
ZERO outplay
ZERO skill required.

90% os the time you are stomping on people that have ZERO chance against you since you will 2 shot them and/or outlast them greatly

the other 10% of the time you are fighting equally pvp clueless twinks…i dont see a challenge there either

I 100% understand your frustration, but there is another perspective.

I had a 39 priest a looong time ago that I would WSG with a lot. Even the process of gearing him up was fun - I had my complete list of things I needed to get for him. Some were common and just required some dungeon runs. Some were crafted or world drop BOEs. There was a fun sense of accomplishment when you get everything and know that there is literally nothing else in the game that can improve that character. He is complete.

Then there’s the battlegrounds. Yes, we get mixed in with people who are just taking a break while leveling to do some BGs. I know that’s frustrating for them and I definitely feel for them. I wish we could have 2 separate queues. It’s unfortunate. But the most fun I had on that 39 was when I was grouped up with, and playing against, a complete team of other maxed out characters.

In my experience, we were all playing for the challenge. We were playing for fun. Not honor or rep or rewards of any kind. Yes there are people who just like the power imbalance and crushing people, but it seemed like most of us simply enjoyed the challenge of playing against other people with maxed out characters who were there for a good competition. If all we wanted to do was smash other people with our massive advantage we wouldn’t have organized games on the realm forums (before cross-realm BGs).

Most people I know who choose to twink do so on the side while doing just what you suggest.
There are many ways to have fun and enjoy this game. Because you don’t do or enjoy a certain aspect of the game does not make it the "wrong way " to play.

There is a reason for the back pedal, iirc. Also, the strats I’ve seen for the bgs that are out are nowhere near as polished as I remember them being. Suppose it will comeback with time.

I want to echo your comment and add that you really learn about how complex the game is when you are pushing everything to the max. It’s not just abilities but positioning and strategy.

I see all the retail players are here with their terrible arguments and false claims about twinks being bad players.

Don’t do WSG in the 19 bracket. Didn’t see a single normal player on the horde the 4 matches I played. maybe 29s or 39s is better.

Hey everyone. 49 twink here. First of all, I’m glad to be back. Never in my wildest dreams did I imagine myself having the opportunity to relive my twink days in Vanilla/TBC.
I played a ton of WSG over the last week (about 3.5k HK’s), and I had a ton of fun. I’m recognizing some players now and am enjoying the competitive play! Keep it up. See you in the BG’s.
