Dont support it then. Even without the boost hes making that 200m but if this is the line you draw to realize that so be it

No, I will not. I’m not playing a game where I spend weeks leveling a character and someone else just clicks a button and is there. I don’t care if it’s a bot, your friend or a kid with cancer.

I’m not doing it, and as it is my preference to continue playing TBC on activision servers that’s what i’m going to advocate for.

No it’s not, took me a long time, but once TBC gets here they are going to greatly reduce the time it takes to level to 60. That will do for anyone worth letting into the game.

The pedantic “debate” tactics ( and I use that word very loosely) i.e. Referring to people as children, labeling cogent arguments as illogical or fallable without disproving them, claiming “evidence” because you have a few friends. The hostility and dismissiveness don’t do anything but get you; ignored, someone to engage in the same behavior back at you, or lectured like you are right now.

If you feel people are unfairly “gate-keeping” or that their feelings and preferences are less valid than your own, consider this from our perspective.

Many of us stopped playing retail, nay most classic players stopped playing retail long ago before coming to classic according to the polling data (unofficial) so ok we’ll go with many of us, we grew up playing this game and others that were even MORE grindy, wow is a cakewalk compared to EQ, and paid boosting was anathema to everyone who laboured for their character. Activision changed that and now there is already 1 version of WoW where these type of things are acceptable.

Why now that we finally have a more pure version of the game would seek to take that too? Does that sound fair to you?

The mental gymnastics people will go through to try and get what they want…

And there it is.

In that horrific logic burst of the worst of humanity you did however answer your own predicament.

I like the idea of the boost, but I still think a fresh TBC server would be awesome too. I’m torn between leveling a paladin horde or boosting a human one, and leveling a BELF on an already populated server doesn’t sound as fun as doing it all over again. The beginning of Classic WoW was the best time in my opinion.

Math has literally been done. It is SO much more profitable for bits to buy the boost, when without taking advantage of cheaper accounts. Even at $15. Immediately make a rogue and start farming Brd. So much less risk of being reported trying to level in the open world, so much faster access to good gold farms. Why can your friend just level? It will literally be like 3 days /played with prepatch XP gains

Thanks for the massive support of the boost everyone, really shows how the community wants it way more than the people that don’t!

This is exactly the insane response I don’t understand, you spent money to play Classic WoW and level in Classic WoW and enjoy the experience of Classic WoW and you got that. How does someone boosting remove those memories or experiences you had?

You realize WoW isn’t a job, you weren’t obligated to level, you did it because you had fun doing it, you had the experience. Do people paying for mage boosts and lvl to 60 in a day bother you too? You’re not thinking logically, you’re thinking with your feelings and your personal experiences, this is a you problem. It’s like one person spent 30 minutes making a hamburger because they love hamburgers and ate it, but saw someone else made a taco in 2 minutes and ate it and you’re upset about it. Why? You had your hamburger, what are you upset about?

I’ll say it again, I probably have leveled more characters than you, 2 to 60, several to 50+ and I can’t even count how many 30-40, a boost doesn’t take away any of my experience or work, my memories don’t just disappear because I did that in CLASSIC WOW, not in TBC. I know if you sit down and think hard enough you’ll understand.

You’re wrong, Staysafe “doing the math” on his clickbait video isn’t fact or logic, it’s conspiracy and paranoia coming from someone who accepts thousands of gold on classic and hasn’t had to put any effort into the game since he started it, stop drinking the streamer kool aid, they’re spoon feeding you people as much as the community spoon sped their entire Classic experience
