Had it since Wrath. Hope everyone gets it because it rocks. Great for gathering with its excellent visibility.

We’ve had that in past months.

would be groovy if they were silhouettes of your character

would be interesting if they did that but I doubt it thus I’ll pass. Anyone who’s interested in them is free to get them and find out though.

Prices were extremely high when the Trading Post first released. The mount was 900. The pet was 750. Weapons were 500 and 650. The outfit was 650.

The only cheap things were the cape sets and a stone mace.

I did.

When the Post was first released, I was very particular to track how many I was earning… mostly just because it was new and interesting.

When I noticed I completed something that was supposed to award 500, and my total didn’t go up!

I submitted a ticket to which they replied “Yeah… there have been some problems. Sorry.”

Never got the Tender back. Just a lame excuse from some flunkie CSR who more concerned with their Starbucks than solving a problem at a billion dollar company.

Now every time I want to buy something and come up short, I get super annoyed knowing I’m down 500. >(

I just went too the Trading post and opened up the chest before heading out and I received 1500 instead of the normal 500…I knew about the extra 500 they were giving way this month but that would of only been 1,000 I would get but I got 1,500 …anyone else get that amount.

I love it, im here for all of it. Transmog is the real endgame and the diversity in looks this will bring to the game is gonna be dope. From light hearted to gritty, bring it. There is enough grit to the game, not everyone wants their character to walk around looking armed to the teeth or high fantasy. Some ppl need to stop thinking in such linear terms of how fantasy should and can be expressed. Im more for the grit, but I can and do appreciate the light hearted fantasy lovers and from a Transmog standpoint I would be a damn fool NOT to get the more light hearted tmog gear (yes i have most of the shop tmog sets too). Also to my fellow grit lovers, if we dont have anything to counter the grit, we cant REALLY appreciate it :v:t5::v:t5:

I do not remember it being so. The prices noticeably went up after a couple of months, and I know that because folks were making threads on it.

Not all that long later, they started selling ‘bonus tender’ attached to limited time items. It was a very obvious shift in order to slowly monetize the TP, and why I’m happy to see some prices much lower this month than we’ve become used to.

Folks were incorrect. Prices fluctuate from month to month, but absolutely started out high.

This was last February when the Post released: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/news/23910165/get-your-trading-post-items-for-february

And here’s March: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/news/23899629/march-over-to-the-trading-post-for-new-items

April had a 900 Tender mount, 750 outfit and a 600 pet: https://worldofwarcraft.blizzard.com/en-gb/news/23934867/hop-over-to-the-trading-post-for-april

I doubt all of them were - and regardless, I think prices should remain fixed at the lowest available points. This isn’t a market currency such as gold, there’s not really any reason for the prices to constantly be shifting up or down based solely on Blizzard’s whims.

As I recall, February last year gave us a lot of extra tender, as well. Probably why most folk didn’t find the prices so bad initially. And it wasn’t being monetized at the time, either. April, as well, is the month that I believe we started seeing complaints of the item prices beginning to hike - especially so for weapons. 225 for those books was really stupid at the time.

Regardless - with all due respect, Sendryn, I don’t feel like arguing with you this. I’m happy with this month’s selection, and with the prices being lower than we’ve grown unhappily accustomed to. And since it’s now actually February, I’m going to be going to get my stuff done and see what I may want! Overall, I’m happy with this month’s post, and I feel that should have been what mattered in my initial post here in the thread. Not my comment about the pricing.

Have a good one, and hopefully you have items you’re excited for as well!

I… linked all of them for you to see?

That’s an understandable viewpoint. I understand why they fluctuate, due to how Blizz wants to keep people from buying everything, but I also understand the other side of it.

The only Tender we got was the 1000 we earned and the 500 for buying the expansion.

That’s interesting, because April had the most 100 Tender pieces compared to previous months. Maybe they felt that was because it looks like there may have been more stuff than previously. But the mount in February was 900, same as it was in April. The pet in February was 750, April’s was 650.

I didn’t reply to argue. I replied to give people factual information on how it actually was so we had a better idea of what was going on.

Have a nice one.
