Why do people say this? What is SoD dupposed to be a “testbed” for exactly? This nonsense is the product. Theyre already firing at 100% power. Theyre using up retail content to act like its something new in classic - theyre already out of ideas and theyve tried nothing.

oh I agree. they’re testing a hodgepodge of retail and classic mixed together. and so far the stew is smelling awfully funky 
not true. half of them were already extremely expensive due to botting, rmt, or other reasons like competition with rogue items etc etc
before this change, several boxes cost 4-6g to fill

and after the change several boxes cost 15-20g to fill

We knew rewards were coming from the reputation - meaning grinding the reputation ahead of time made sense. We had no reason to assume the actual gold reward from turn ins would also be increased

My guy historically they have changed boxes ever since it came out and updates

You would be smart to hold onto boxes just in case… cuz you never know…
It’s basic wow 101 hold onto stuff until the changes
For example holding on to coins from STV when they fix the lumber cuz eventually something will happen
Even holding on SOME of them would be better than going all in before an update

Please stop trying to explain opportunity cost to people.
It just confuses them and makes them angry.
They changed exp… they changed rep… they changed now gold…
The point I’m trying to make is you know by they are coming with an update
Like they tell you when it’s coming like weeks before
Are you not mature enough to hold onto them until after the update?
Instead you got people crying “I lost gold cuz I didn’t xyz”

Which they have not done before, so when the players are told “we are working on adding rewards for the reputation” with literally no mention of increasing the gold reward there is no reason to assume the gold reward is being increased
Imagine going up to someone annoyed that a game they just bought yesterday went on sale today, with no notice about it ahead of time and it having never been on sale before, and telling them they should have expected that. That’s the logic you’re using

No, you read what I type. When they have never done it before and make zero mention of it when talking about the REPUTATION rewards there is no reason to assume the gold reward for turn in is being touched

I sold most of the boxes only turned in those I can fill myself. Yeah, still if I did last night it will be 12 g each. But I mean, devs brain dead, we should all be thankful we still can log on to the server
