If you don’t xfer your TF to era you’ll massively regret it. Just like all those people that didn’t pay for clones the first time round, we had years of regretful forum posts.

i mean, can literally just look at the difference in server names. Have we had anniversary realms? Did they do anything to even set a precedent on anniversary realms? Oh wait they havent? Oh wait are these the first anniversary realms to date?
Making excuses for someone and talking about a precedent from a different server type is funny. I also agree having clone services would be appreciated and yeah im hoping they do it as well, however im not holding them to doing what they did in the past 4 years ago on servers that, which btw, have been doing things differently in classic compared to era. Where was the precedent there? Or is it because its ANNIVERSARY realms they are doing things differently than last go around.
People opted into anniversary for the amount of people that were playing on those realms vs era realms for classic (excluding the ones who wanted tbc, myself included). To sit there and claim people opted into it because it was a “preconceived” notion they would include clones, when blizz literally said these would progress into tbc and that was the only info given, is blatantly ignorant.
I want clones like you do, and it isnt unreasonable for blizz to opt to put them in (they make money, we get service… win win) but to EXPECT the service on a server where they have been doing alot of UNPRECEDENTED things is farfetched.

Was the unrelenting buff added when anniversary released? No. This is in the context of the beginning of anniversary. Learn to follow a thread.

I’m not following how you can’t move forward into TBC with your Warrior that has Thunderfury?
Thunderfury is good until you get Mallet of the Tides and is nice to whip it out on a 3+ pull in Heroics. Cuts your APM needed by about half. The proc doesn’t break CC because it is a Nature Debuff and does no damage to the nearby targets while doing decent threat.
Something tells me your guild is forcing you to not play your Warrior as a tank in TBC. Good Prot warriors can tank everything in the game start to finish. I don’t know how post-nerf affects us but the PTR is up so you could always give it a shot.

Xfer to era and skip tbc. $80 is too much for a boost and store mounts are cringe.
Just to clear the air here, I can do whatever I please in the guild. I’m MT now, and can choose to and continue to MT with this same character into TBC. I am happy to prove Prot War is still plenty good in TBC.
The issue is purely making me choose. Yes I did assume there would be cloning. Yes it will be far easier to boost a new warrior for TBC and move TF to era. I don’t want that pain, it’s unnecessary, and they resolved it before.
The gear doesn’t last forever, but it certainly changes the leveling dynamic quite a bit.
I think the “you can’t have your cake and eat it too” argument is a strawman. I’d be paying for the service. And like you said, it’s not hyper valuable from a gear perspective, but from an RPG / Guild / Character perspective, now my guild’s progression kill screenshots I won’t have TF.
If you can’t understand why this is lame, that’s on you. It’s a swift kick in the nuts from Blizz, to what I argue are the most loyal fans of the franchise. I’ve become disenchanted with retail and I thought Classic team would take care of it’s folks better.

I agree that they should offer cloning and if it was mutually exclusive (for “reasons”) that news should have been shared a long time ago.

Make a new character for TBC and move your warrior to Era.
If you want to tank all 3 are good.
This is the course I will take, just don’t like it. I made the title of the thread and OP like that because it gets views and attention. Copium on my part to expect the team to see it and reconsider.
