Not looting didnt mean less drama, it changed it.
When the pop-up shows less overall loot, people knew others didnt loot. There were addons that checked to see who looted Anima and who didnt. Those that didnt get anima were called out in raid and insulted, labeled greedy and not a team player.
Not looting lead to just as much drama.
