They wouldn’t really be able to. If they needed it it would bind to them and be untradable. The 2 hour trade thing is only for raids.
Of course if they greeded it and won, well they don’t need to ransom it period. They can just go sell it.

Yup it bugged but I’m picking up what you laid down and agree. It is a leadership/ communication issue. Oh and people’s obsession with pixelcrack. Lol.
Ooops. Why do I keep forgetting that? I just read it too. Lol.
So now I’m back to wondering about the BoE becoming soulbound if needed on.
use masterlooter.
No one is going to join a 5-man pug set to ML
Just gonna stride on into deadmines and say “Yo, we masterlooin’ got a problem wit dat?” Yea, that’s gonna work real swell. to Timmy the young Palidan and Tammy the human bandit.
You could probably pull it off pug ML if you were the tank starting the group. It would be funny seeing how much you could get away with.
“I decide who gets what, no rolling!”
blue cloth int shoulders drop
Tank: “Looks like a rogue item.”
Mage: “But I could use it for…”
Tank: “ROGUE! ITEM!”
Mage: mutters
Tank: “WHAT WAS THAT?”
Mage: “nothing…”
In a group once when I did Uldaman we had a tank who, while into the dungeon after he pulled his first need for a green item, said he was a warrior and gold was scarce and he needed the gold for his mount so he should get everything no one else needed.
Well my friend got mad about it and then the tank threatened to leave if he didn’t get his way, I just wanted to finish and never get back…

ahh for some reason i though you guys were talking about ubrs or some stuff.
for 5 mans it was need if you need it greed if you dont. everyone needs on boe epics unless otherwise agreed to. make sure to make rules BEFORE the run.
they wont loot things to other people now cause theyve said the only loot that can be traded is raid loot in mc/bwl/aq/zg/ect and they wont respond to loot tickets.
all in all if someone “ninja loots” just put them on ignore and move on with your life.
nope it’s hunter item … all loot is hunter loot.
If it’s for your alt that’s a greed roll. The toon you are in the dungeon with does not need it.
Sounds like something a ninja looter would say, right before they jack your gear!!!
I was gonna post this myself. Numerous people in vanilla used this excuse to need on everything in dungeon runs.
That isnt the case at all, BoE’s can be sold to anyone outside the group and as such are needed by everyone in the group. BoP have next to zero value if you wont equip them.
Yeah very common on the forums at the time.
My personal feeling is don’t be a dick. I also don’t worry too much about loot in general. They are just little pixels representing imaginary objects and for the most part not worth freaking out. Not to say I would gkick someone in my guild who ninja looted or be annoyed by people who do but I try to keep it in perspective.
I remember a guy in one of my raid groups (who I already didn’t particularly care for) who made a comment that he really hated the person who loot council gave some healing mace from Mount Hyjal to over him. Like he actually physically was so mad he hated the person. That seemed insane to me.
We’re going to have to record ourselves rolling 5 D20s and send the video in to Blizzard along with our server, guild, name, and a picture of the item being rolled for. They will mail the item to the winner in 10-14 business days.
as long as the value isn’t zero. 2g in your pocket is worth more than an upgrade for some pugger you’ll probably never see again just like 1000g is.
you’ll probably make much more money needing every BoP that drops than you would from the first chance you get to need a BoE epic
Because we want vanilla.
