Changing the item level of legendaries is not fixing the loot table.
And although changing the ilvl of raid raid drops would accomplish what you are saying, they wont because of the backlash of the players who currently have the gear, and would “lose out” from it.
Right… again, even though OP stated loot tables, he’s not talking about it directly. He’s stating that certain gear seem weak in comparison to others. Anyways I’m not gonna get into anymore technicality and exactly what words are used and not. It’s fine if you didn’t understand, it’s fine if you didn’t agree.
All points are clear, I agree with OP. I’m not saying it won’t cause other issues. And there are more than 1 way to approach things.
He also commented on gold drops. He is in fact talking about loot tables. maybe about more than than, be he is talking about loot tables.
Happy holiday and happy new year.
This is a forum where people can post within the CoC what they like. Their opinion, whether you agree or not, is allowed to be here. This isn’t an echo chamber.
Indeed. And I believe @Tini was going with the opinion that they believe the ilevel is too low for a legendary.
Personally, I understand why Blizz took this route. It meant that people who got their legendaries quickly before the raid release weren’t too high of an ilevel. They’re trying to keep the linear progression. At least, that’s my take on it.
Have a good day.
I totally get that. I fully understood what the current points were.
Seems like your attitude is the only thing that needs fixin round here boy.
Yeah I apologize actually. I think I got triggered when i saw OP’s opinion being attacked. Or maybe even my own opinion.
Loot table is poopy poopy and needs fixy fixy. Is what hes saying.
Yes, I do.
No, it is not. The legendary is being used as a point of comparison here. I could have worded it differently I suppose but the lack of quality in respect to drops and the fact that an epic drop has a better i-lvl than the legendary is the point. I have been here since the beginning and never have seen a legendary rate in lower that a current content epic.
Wasn’t even rank 1 legos the strongest gear you could get before raids and all that opened up. Do you think they should remove rank 1-3 and just have rank 4?
LMAO nicely done, thank you for this.
Just in general they seem to be trying to retrain the playerbase to accept little or no reward for playing.
The entire genre is built on the concept that rewarding players for participating will encourage them to continue to play. I think they’re trying to prove that more people will play if the game is made less rewarding, engaging, and fun for most players.
Not sure how well that’s going to work out.
So blizz trying to reinvent the wheel? Sounds about right, although I always believed that you don’t fix what’s not broken. But then again wow has always been broken right? Haha
I never thought of that. Interesting thought. Does not explain the issue with the comparison between current epics and the new legendaries though.
There are no legendary drops. The ilvl of epics cannot be compared to an ilvl drop of nothing.
The max ilvl of legendaries is 135 i believe, far above heroic ilvl.
