Loot issue is getting worse

No point in tanking dungeons since the loot rate is so low compared to DPS…

Your thread moved to the bug report forum earlier? GM or CS can not make changes to game mechanics.

I mean whatever they did made it so much worse… need to fix this bug or intentional coding immediately

Unfortunately this is not an issue that the customer service forums can assist you with.

The RNG of loot drops is just a mechanic that exists in the game

If this is their intention… that’s bonkers

Probably why Vrak moved it to bug reports, as mentioned in the last post.

Simply put: Nothing can be done, nothing would be done, from posting in the CS forum as the blues here don’t handle bugs, and the loot system doesn’t always give loot. There isn’t any X amount and you’d get loot.

Sounds like they balanced things a bit to make it more fair for players in general. Since tanks can get very quick queues vs DPS or classes that cannot tank, the trick has always just been to tank if you can and set your loot spec to something like DPS and then get geared out very quickly; while avoiding the long DPS queues. If it is actually true that they’ve made changes like this, then I’d say about time…

Though it might take a little tweaking of the variables to get it to the point where it’s roughly the same as other specializations. For instance, if it takes some rogue 10 hours worth of queues+runs to get geared out to a certain point, where they spent most of their time waiting in queues, then it should take the tank roughly the same 10 hours worth of queues+run to reach the same level of gearing, even though the tank spent far less time in queues and more time in the runs. Basically, it normalizes gearing rates.

But as other have said, this isn’t really the place for discussions on issues like this. Probably better for general or something.
