I am somewhat the opposite, I only have 1 crafted gear piece at this time and pretty much all Mythic+ gear with some heroic and normal raid gear. However I seem to be cursed at the moment cause I’ve ran Academy 40+ times and have gotten many many drops but the problem with that is I’ve only gotten either a cloak from it or the belt.
Out of the 6 possible items that can drop for the dungeon for me I’ve gotten the belt like 15 times and the cloak like 7-10 times. I havent seen a single other piece of gear drop for me. The only time I got something else from the dungeon was a ring that can drop but someone else got it and traded it to me. So in all I think its likely just bad luck for drops for you and I’m just cursed to get the same drops from dungeons every time (I’ve run Academy like 15 times today and got the cloak 3 times and the belt 4-5 times, please end my suffering :’[ )
Edit: Finally got the Puzzle box on my 61st run 
(trinket I wanted as its bis trinket out of raid). Finally the curse has been broken
