I just ignore or I’ll disenchant it in front of them.
I immediately equip all loot drops as soon as I get them.

I’ve seen people ask politely if someone needed an item. Some give the item away, some say no I need it and that’s the end. No tantrums no begging. Just players trying to better their characters.
Such a nice person.

If they have that stupid begging addon I will never give them the loot, I hate that addon so very much.
Otherwise if they ask me nicely usually I will if they weren’t a tool during the run. I usually proactively offer up loot if someone needs it.

That’s happened to me a few times. I do a /laugh and walk away even if I don’t need it. I don’t mind giving stuff I don’t need away. But I wont give them to people who are rude about it.

it’s nice to encounter players who are excited about a piece of gear.
you could celebrate in their excitement and the fact that you were the one who found an item that someone wants. the opportunity to make their day better has presented itself to you.
if you’re the one who they whisper, look at it like this; you’re fortunate, for fate determined you’d be the individual who people would bump into this day, a bit of bonding sprung from a treasure.
of course, if you need the item, you can kindly let them know, hopefully they are happy you received something you needed. and tell them grats if you give it to them, it will make their day even better!

Yeah mog run I get that but for me, I love having a juicy timewalking toon… On my priest I have the legendary MoP cloak, very specific legendaries from legion, dragon wrath staff from cata, a few specific trinkets I enjoy using… It’s just fun, I love going in there pulling over 50% of the dps and having like 5-6 legendaries equipped ;), but yeah it is annoying nonetheless.

I don’t run LFR(Total times run SINCE ULDIR equates to 7x total), and YOU can look at MY Armory, and get my drift…I was speaking from grps I can kick ppl from, and even stated it in MY comment.
I’m not going to restate anything else from my original comment - you can take it or leave it. I do help if I don’t need the item.
RNG does suck, but it’s been in this game since the beginning…it’s simply gotten more…RNGish, as it’s progressed, it too, is annoying.

to answer your question. Generally I dont see it but then I dont do lfr and the likes. And I do raids w/ friends/guild

Or I need it and say, “Sorry, man, I do.”

Nothing wrong with asking but those that keep at it are annoying.
I usually put it up for roll if more then one is asking. There’s a darklegacy comic about such situations that nails it.
