It’s so good I cant fathom questing/raiding without it. You never have to play find the pixel, its just push button → collect all loot. Theres no reason such a QoL item shouldnt be baseline.

I actually made every single character on my account engi/whatever for professions just for loot-a-rang but the blizz devs apparently hate the QoL of it because while it takes what… 40 cata engi skill to craft you now need 70 cata engi to use it… “To coMbAT BoTtInG”
Like they refuse to ban bots because “$ub$ are $ub$” so all the honest paying customers don’t ever get to have loot-a-rang. Just another stupid symptom we get as players because blizzard straight out refuses to be an honest company.

Didn’t non-engi used to get to use it… then they broke it. Or was it just my engi that could use it? Man it has been so long.
It used to be everyone could use it. Then they change. It’s only engineers can use it and only if they have cataclysm engineering up to 70

That was the greatest toy… but I do remember that it quit working and so it has gone to the abyss of my toy page vs my ability bars.

its absurd you have to be an engineer to use the damned thing.
twice as absurd you have to have cata eng 40 to make the damned thing and cata eng 70 to use the damned thing.
and MAYBE the intent originally was botters blah blah blah, but after no botting was stopped for screwing things over, it should have been returned to being usable at cata Eng 1 like it was
