Looks like the Dreamsurges are bugged

Looks like the Dreamsurges are bugged. Two rotations and it failed to launch in the Azure Span. Anyone else having similar issues? Timer counted down and reached 0. Stayed there for a moment then the timer resets.

Yeah, I can’t even find them on my map. Icon isn’t showing up, although all the other related icons (like the rares that spawn everywhere, and the bluey-green thing that shows where the archdruid is giving out the weekly quest) are fine.

I found the portal a bit south west of Camp Antonidas right on the corner.

There is a thread on the bug forum as well. It appears to be an ongoing issue today.

Update, did not spawn on the half hour. Might be a combo issue of them stealth nerfing it to be hourly, but doing it in a buggy way, and also the portal not showing on the map.

Could someone actually explain dreamsurges to me? I always fly to the icon on the map but nothing’s ever there.

Every 30 minutes, a portal opens and mobs spawn around it. Kill them, then kill the elite that comes out of the portal.

The whole thing takes 3-4 minutes and gives you dust and BoA tokens.

I noticed there were a bunch of portals that seemed to do nothing in the other events. Is it possible the whole time these were supposed to move around, and they “fixed” that, but also broke the portal icon on the map?

Thanks for the explanation. Is the portal always supposed to be there as long as the icon is up? Or does it like close if it gets cleared by someone?

Once the event is cleared, that’s it until a new surge happens. And the icon will go away.

So you basically need to be there the moment it drops to do it. That sounds really lame.

These were minor portals that were supposed to spawn mobs and a “mini boss” after the mobs were cleared when it was clicked on, they haven’t worked since launch of the event.

I’m still shocked some people claim DF isn’t buggy. I like it, but wow, some of these patch drops aren’t the best. I wonder if its from pushing to release patches quicker? :upside_down_face:

In other news, while clicking the third clue on the mimiron’s jumpjets thingy just now I encountered some weird bug where I couldn’t use any skills or items. Then I froze and had to alt f4 out. Tried logging back in and got a realm list. Selected my realm and crashed. Oh boy. :woman_facepalming:

Yea it’s not perfect. I’m still running into a lot of minor bugs. Gathering nodes under the ground or in the walls, mobs stuck and immune to damage.
