Looks like Actiblizz jumped into the controversy

If only there was some sort of data we could correlate for these sort of social predicaments

pulls up 2018 violent crime statistics

Mason… have you seen these numbers? What DO they mean?

Yes I see it, it’s what I said. Blizz supports what won’t cost them money. They sanctioned anyone mentioning Hong Kong but come out in support of the rioters in this country. Hypocrisy. As I said.

Destroyed, how? It’s weird how you’re self proclaimed “right” company has a ton of locations in Austin, Texas when Austin is like the most “left” city in the state.

I mean you are reaching, I’ll give you that. You are just reaching into the stratosphere is all.

I can tell OP doesn’t approve because they said Activision Blizzard.

Funny, you compare only Austin. Have you never lived anywhere else? I am up to 7 states, including cities like Austin, Round Rock and Copperas Cove, TX

And please as much as Austin likes to say its “left” its not. I mean they still allow Longhorn football to be played.

Again, I’m done with you. You ignored key context and until you read that, you’re not worth my time.

Rofl, ok bud. I mean you can keep trying, be my guest. Doesn’t change the fact your religious groups are full of it and are about as anti-Jesus as it gets.

Hmmmm… according to these calculations you are 6.1x more likely to

Forensic evidence and witness testimony worked against brown and supported the officers side of the story.

By all that is holy I’ve slapped so many people on my ignore list today just from this thread alone. These threads bring all the rot out of the woodwork.

For real. /10chars

I wonder if Blizzard is going to be ok with editing out the dark skinned characters in Diablo 4 for China too.

Kind of wish corporations would keep their noses out of this stuff.

Paladins are still black in Diablo 2.

Yes they were. How is this thread not locked yet?

My thoughts on this:

-Peaceful protesters are just exercising their rights.
-I wish someone would tell the rioters that they’re rioting over the death of a criminal so they’re not only evil, they’re also stupid.

Beyond that I’m a strong believer in innocent until proven guilty so I haven’t formed an opinion yet.

‘Criminal’ is a rather oversimplification of the matter, but the robbery and arson is beyond stupid.

Ironically, I have seen these several times. I don’t really know of anyone who doesnt think the officer was guilty of manslaughter or murder. He’s done either way. I don’t know or have heard a person who thinks George Floyd was a criminal and deserved to be killed for a fake $20 or being under the influence. Some do seem to think it was ok he died for being out of shape though SMH…

I am cool with protestors, everyone should have that right. I disagree with it on the freeway, but that’s besides the point.

I believe rioting, stealing or destroying property is wrong regardless of the reason.

There is a LOT of nuance in peoples stances.

The head of the Minneapolis police union says George Floyd’s “violent criminal history” needs to be remembered and that the protests over his death are the work of a “terrorist movement.”

“What is not being told is the violent criminal history of George Floyd. The media will not air this,” police union president Bob Kroll told his members in a letter posted Monday on Twitter.

Floyd had landed five years behind bars in 2009 for an assault and robbery two years earlier, and before that, had been convicted of charges ranging from theft with a firearm to drugs, [the Daily Mail reported]

Police unions really need to stop defending this crap, they have far too much influence it seems.
