When has blizzard ever announced class changes this early into a patch review?
I don’t know I don’t check for Blizzard, I assume the expansion as a whole. But if you just say “because there’s a possiblity they might do some” then I’d say you have way more high hopes than me when they pretty much said that 9.0 will be when there will be class changes.
There are ALWAYS class changes in every major patch, there WILL be some changes. Maybe not the changes you are looking for, but there is always some hope.
Looks great for me. The 12 boss raid seems long, but other than that it looked awesome.
I mean, if you don’t think anything in 8.3 sounds good, then you must absolutely hate 8.2 and 8.2.5 … So what, do you stay subbed just to tell people you don’t like this expansion and not interested in playing it?

i’m not so much “unimpressed” as i’m sick and tired of blizzard’s tentacle fetish.
for the love of god blizzard, step away from the lovecraftian horror trope. it’s tired. it’s old. it’s annoying. it’s the epitome of lazy writing because by it’s very definition nothing ever makes sense, meaning the writers don’t have to try to make it make sense. it’s dumb, and it’s overused.

A bit, yeah. I’m just going to take a little break I think and get over it. Just a bit demoralized for Alliance diversity atm.
Still happy for the folks that are going to enjoy both.
Clearly not the class changes I want, and that’s all that matters to me. They might change some %, that doesn’t change gameplay, that doesn’t change your class. Link me a serious rework they did during this expansion. I’m not even sure they did one. They mostly just striped classes at the beginning, added gcd to tons of spells and called it a day.
You can have hope and keep playing, I have better use of my time than just hoping they’ll fix it eventually. When it will be fixed, I will play. Else there are other video games.
The new solo progression might keep me occupied for a while .Even the raid sounds pretty good will probably have a shot at it in a pug.

Yeah I’m gonna stick to classic. PVP is still going to be dead since they’re not addressing the main issues like class design. Maybe next expansion…
I’m perplexed how anyone can read some of these ideas and immediately say it sounds boring unless they’ve already decided they don’t like the patch.

If it’s any consolation, this is the very last Old God, so when we kill it, that entire plot thread will be conclusively wrapped up.
I mean, it’s like the people on Argus who were like “okay can we be done with demons for awhile” and now… we’re done with demons for awhile. 
Well, I do agree that they should start doing mid expansion reworks again, constantly applying % band-aids to a class won’t fix gameplay at it’s core.
yeah, until blizzard runs out of ideas five minutes later and decides to open another n-dimensional plot device and let another “plot device” enemy into the universe. that’s the whole lure of lovecraftian horror, there’s no limit and no end to the bs they can do becuase it’s all “an other, outside universe from our own”

I don’t think a new zone is necessarily new content. An old zone with interesting things happening is perfectly fine.
