I’m looking to start twinking and am not sure which bracket I should play in, I want to play a lvl in the 60s. Do I stick at lvl 60? Do I go to 64? 69? I know I want socketed gear and stacking Str gems but unsure about what level to play, thanks!
Here is a list of twinking brackets: 19, 29, 39, 49, 59, 69, 79, 85, 89, 90, 99, 101, 110, 115.
There is room for other levels as well, but those are the majority of levels people twink at. If you’re willing for the most costly twink you should focus on something around lvl 115, if you’re looking for something hardcore, OP, and still expensive, go for something 101, or even 85.
If you want the cheaper alternative, go for a 29 twink. The majority of your gear can come from PVP & Dungeons. You can obtain satchels for winning BG’s and what not that give really amazing gear. If you don’t wanna play at 29, you can always be in the 19 bracket, but be aware it has less abilities, and requires less work to level.
I hope this guide helps out.
Personally if you want to make a twink, go for a lvl 29.
Hope my guide helps.
Thanks! What would you say the games are like in the 29 bracket? Im looking to work on battlemaster achievements for a reference of what I want to do.
If you’re going to work on Battlemaster, I suggest twinking as a lvl 64. (Brackets go from 60-64, 65-69, with every bracket, but the ones I linked were the ones most played.
What I suggest doing is getting a few legendaries, and updating your gear to the best of your abilities, grab a few professions that boost your stamina or whatever, and use them. It will be somewhat costly, but it’s worth it. If you want Khan you may be able to do it with a lvl 64. I don’t know what level EOS and AV is unlocked now’adays, but if you can do AV at lvl 29, then go for it. I think it was 51 in Vanilla when I started, so it may have changed now. As for lvl 29 twinking, its really casual, and can be competitive. You will definitely find overpowered hunters rolling around there, while 64 twinking may be easier to find underpowered people with heirlooms trying to level. So its really up to you and your playstyle.
Hope it helps.
Thank you so much! very helpful
If you actually come to my server and make an Alliance twink I can help ya out a bit too with dungeons, and whatever else you may need
You sir are GREATLY outdated. Bracket are back from 10 to 19 etc
Yes, but people usually play at lvl 19, not twink at lvl 10.
Also brackets are have been chopped up as well, depending on the bracket level. I believe 60-64 is a thing, and 65-69 is also a thing. When I was in a BG on my lvl 69, I only saw lvl 65’s +, and that was this morning so…
Please give me clarification.
I’d like to know this too since I’m debating whether I want to be 64 or 69…
The 39 bracket is where it is at. We promote a mature environment where mutual respect on the field of battle is the preferred way to play. Also we support new players in their pursuit by offering as much info on how to get there. visit xpoff com find the 39 forum. and you’ll have a twink that you can enjoy in a very balanced bracket.
I had a 39 Warrior back in Vanilla, I still agree that it was really awesome.
korn you are wrong the bracket were changed back to 10-19 20-29 etc. This change was amade when player scalling came in so there was no need to have them so split up anymore as you can now hit ppl at all times.
I would suggest the 30-39 rbacket its a lot of fun atm.
Kind of odd choices for your brackets here. 60 is more prevalent than 69, same with 70 and 79, and 80 and 89. No one really twinks 101 anymore and 115 isn’t particularly common, it is 110, 111 or 119.
Outside of a couple brackets like 70s where some Khorium gear is BiS, there really is not much expense to twinking anymore. Almost all the gear used in most brackets is BoP and obtained through dungeons/raids/questing/pvp. Everyone should be able to afford 20k of enchants and such these days.
That is 100% Truth.
What about BT gear?
You could always do lvl 60, that works as well.
No mentions of the 109 bracket? Really? 109 has a bunch of BoE epic armor pieces that can titanforge AND a BoE Epic weapon. All those can titanforge up 190+ (which is 30 ilvls above normal ilvl cap). You end up destroying any BG you are in if half the other team doesnt gank up on just your char.
Saw the comment above me and I felt an urge to note that the 190+ titan forged gear is extremely rare to see, I play plenty of those bgs and I only saw one person with 184+ pieces. The gear must be insanely rare to get because it is almost none existent, not on the auction house or on any character(partially the reason I don’t have any of such gear yet). The 109 bracket is actually really balanced because of this. Also, the BoE Weapons are very limited in which classes can use them, and even then cause their ilvl is usually not 184+ most people stick with artifacts or lower gear cause they are not worth it.
The 39 bracket is pretty good. Stay clear of the 49 bracket - unless you like bgs loaded with fotm specs and people abusing op items like ramstein trinket. The 60 and 70 bracket are also fun. As for sitting 60 or going to 69 really depends on the class and whether they get any core skills along the way.
hey at least sulz is getting nerfed next patch am I right?
That and the disc nerf I am really looking forward to.
